Those uniforms in black look hideous. In reality, the green does not contrast enough with the black. It looks terrible. You would have to put white trim around the numbers. These are just fugly.
I'm a art director and that design looks like something from a high school kids portfolio. Does he realize the jet logos look more like sharks, whales and fish than airplanes? I would like to see an alt black helmet/uniform...but not this one.
those uniforms look TERRIBLE. I'm not sure why there's a desire to change, I loved it when we reverted back to our SB uniforms 10 years ago, and I STILL think they are one of the best uniforms in the league
I like the black uniform idea, not so much that particular design. Maybe a black alternate would be a good start-

Ugly. That's just a black helmet with a Jets sticker on it. It's bad enough we wear mustard and blue for half the season, why change it even more? The green and white is one the nicest uniforms in the NFL IMO

Adding black because it's "tough" is so 90's and gay. Weak sell-out shit. imo. Also, calling it "jet black" -- simply because "jet black" happens to be a way of describing something that's really black or whatever -- is supposed to sell me on the idea? Shut up.
Would the real unis be coloured in with felt tips as well? If so, I'm against it. Seriously, those unis are beyond crap. And the last time we added in a subtle dash of black, it heralded the godawful 1990s skid. Parcells did his best with it in 1997 but it was only when the black was expunged that this franchise turned it around in 1998.
Okay, I guess I will throw myself into the Jets uniform sweepstakes. I am picturing a very raw and new type of design, cutting edge and will change the path of sports fashion for the foreseeable future...
I'm gonna get bashed for this but here I go... Everyone uses black to look tough. Let's use some camo!!! It's green, it's related to military jets, it's tough looking, and no one else in the league uses it. I say we make some affiliations with the military. It's a great cause, it would be a great look and great image. AND BEST OF ALL, IT ONE UPS THE PATRIOTS LITTLE MINUTE MAN.
