That check down might have picked up a yard or two and he would have been sacked anyway. Looked like he was trying to dive and go untouched instead of just taking the sack. If Ainge plays, I guarantee you he'll make more than his fair share of mistakes too.

This just further shows that sitting on the sideline can only do so much for your development. You need to feel what it's like to play in game. Clemens in the presser is admitting that he wasn't used to the game's speed. This guy's been on the bench for 3 years and he doesn't have a feel for the game. This is why we should never bench Sanchez (unless he tore something today).

Why because the guy looks like Sanchez did when he faced the Saints?

Happy feet, muffed fumbles, fumbled a ball, fell down on his 1st play...

He made 1 pass...He fuckin blowed "dude"

In all honesty...you have no clue how Ainge will play...because he hasn't seen any action.

We KNOW what we're getting with Clemens.....Ainge is still a wildcard until proven otherwise.

In '07 Clemens replaced Chad Pennington and showed nothing. But everybody was too busy calling Pennington "noodle arm" to notice.

No need to insult Clemens, though.

Before last week he hadn't played for 2 years. He never practiced with the first team and I'm guessing he hasn't looked at as much tape as Sanchez did for the week. Lighten up. Clemens is gone next year anyways.

Kellen Clemens is a BACK UP qb. What do you expect? Yes I agree he could have easily blew it if dbrick didn't fall on that ball. Aside from that I thought he was fine especially considering the play calling we had. You can't bash him for his first series coming in cold. We won the game stop whining.

^^ I wonder if you guys will continue to blow that pile of ineptitude next week if he starts for the Jets.

You got a taste of what's to come....if Sanchez can't go next week.

Live in denial all you want....it's the truth.

I think Ainge needs to move up the depth chart for next time.

Dude what I EXPECT from the backup is to be ready when Sanchez goes down...

I can deal with the trip on the 1st pass attempt, whatever...But he played like ass besides that 1 pass...He didn't even want to sit strong in the pocket, he rolled out any chance he could!

Fumbles, muffs a snap...I mean come on, he sucked.

Not horrible incompetence. I'm surprised Schottenheimer was dumb enough to let him throw. Wait. No I'm not.

Revis Christ, what Ray Lucas just said before the commercial break might have been some of the fucking dumbest shit I've ever heard in my life.

What? The shit about the Jets being better with Clemens because he wouldn't throw five picks? Clemens couldn't complete six passes without throwing five to the defense.
