I'm pretty sure Rex is just saying that because he knows that Clemens might be starting the next game. He wants Clemens to have some confidence and show that he has faith in KC.
I think my worst nightmare would be to get Mangini float upstream to Buffalo and see either Clemens or Brady Quinn in a BILLS uni....
i think you're bang on with that statement. I'm sure Rex went straight to the can to throw up his lunch after the press conf.
How about that fucking check down he missed on his second drive? How about the sack he got against himself when he tripped over his own fucking feet? How about the fact that he is a shitty fucking football player. If Sanchez cannot go next week I hope to God we put in Ainge and move Kellen to emergency back. I'd rather go with the evil I don't know than let this stupid piece of shit huck it into the turf or coverage. Aside from one good quarter in Baltimore two years ago? What the fuck do you see in this guy worth defending as a football player?
We'd gladly work a deal with you for say, a 3rd or 4th straight up for the Immortal Kellen Clemens. I mean, how could anyone turn a deal like that down especially on the strength of his performance tonight..
this board is really over the top with all the kellen clemens hate. he came in managed the game didn't turn the ball over and we won. stop b*tching. with that said i hope sanchez is ready to go against tampa.
Other than the two fumbles, he played well. He did make probably the biggest throw of the game to Cotch, fellas. He was DEF shaky, but I liked that he threw the ball away a lot and didn't force balls.
Like I said in the other thread.... He didn't look like a guy who is "one play away from coming in the game." He looked like could give a shit about tonight's game and probably watched barely any film on Buffalo... Bring me Kitna here next year.
He didn't throw the ball away on a huge 3rd down play, and we're all fortunate that Buffalo didn't pick up the fumble and run it into the end zone there.
