Revis defensive player of the week

He should have been defenive player of the week a lot of weeks this year. How about shutting down Moss - TWICE!

 

I could be wrong, but on NFL Gameday for NFL Network, was Deion Sanders hating on Revis?

Whenever Revis picked one off, Mooch would compliment Revis, and Sanders at one point said, "I ain't gonna say nothing because then it's gonna sound like I'm hating."

I took it to mean...it didn't matter who the receivers were out there, look at who's throwing the ball.

 

Can we play him as a slot receiver?

 

I think that had to do with Rhodes, not Revis. I think it had something to do with he hated the Jets for benching Rhodes, but I was a little confused by it, too.

Deion loves Revis, he said after the game that he was one of the best 2 cornerbacks in the NFL and that he texts him a lot.

 

Thanks for clarifying Mack. On Monday morning, I had the clip on in the background while I was working on something else, so it sounded to me like he was hating on Revis for a minute there.

If the JETS were a winning team, it would be changed to Defensive Player of the Year

 

As a matter of fact, I read that Revis and Sanders have eachothers numbers and talk often.

 

They are text buddies apparently.

Probably self-serving, the more contact they have with each other, the more credit Deion can take for Darrelle's play.

I think Darelle Revis should be defensive player of the year. Look at the receivers he's faced this year and what he's been doing. It's fucking assinine.

I don't think it had to do with Rhodes.. I'm pretty sure he was talking about Delhomme every time he said that. And I could be wrong but I think at the beginning of the clip he corrects someone by saying Revis is "THE best cover corner" in the league.
