hahaha...great thread. I'm starting to believe Tanny should've made sure Favre was "motivated" last year...before they traded for him
I'm starting to get the feeling you'll be saying that during the superbowl this year as well. Minny looks fucking awsome right now.
With Adrian Peterson on my team and in a dome I could throw for 400 yards and 3 TDs too.....I'm in denial about Favre...
Hahaha... keep dreaming on Favre... Vikes are a serious SB contender this year if they can just manage to get by New Orleans.
I find it so hard to believe that Jet fans actually like Brett Favre after what he did to us. He will collapse, he'll find a way like he always does. Maybe playing inside helps for a while but he'll do it and then the Favre fellaters will gikve us the excuses- it's the defense, it's the running game, it's STs, it's Brad Chiuldress' fault,...
It's not so much about liking far as much as it is about respecting his abilities. And I say his abilities - not the man himself. Favre has dumped out of a lot of games down the stretch of his career because he was more or less carrying teams. The Vikes are pretty balanced and as such that makes him a dangerous passer. I'm not going to hate the guy because he screwed us over... you had to blind to not see what was going to happen if we signed him. It was a gamble and in the short run we came up losers on the Favre deal. Hopefully signing Sanchez was one of the domino falling things to the Favre saga that make it right in the end.
Question is, did he fake his injury and throw some games to get out of his Jets contract. His plan was definitely to bypass the Packers any way he could to get on the Vikings so he could spite Green Bay for dropping him
Favre looks extremely brittle to me, guess it's his age. One good high/low sack from a pair of defensive ends and he's in traction for months... thanks to his release he's avoided the rest home to this point.
