Nice read by Flacco to get that out and pick up the First.

That's the second time I've seen Offensive PI called in the NFL today. Very unusual. And that prolly just sent this to OT.

I don't understand why a lot of people think Joe Flacco is a good quarterback?

He has awful pocket presence, he's horribly inaccurate most of the time, and he's one of the slowest players I've ever seen.

That sack cost the Ravens a win.

What an absolutely awful sequence to end the game - Ray Rice lets Farrior sack Flacco, Flacco fumbles, and then Cundiff ends up a few yards short on the FG as a result.

It's also his second year in the league in which he's gaining experience that he didn't have playing on a team/against teams at Delaware.

Flacco played a Pittsburgh first, and there's a reason he had to transfer. He wasn't good enough to start on a FBS team.

The guy has a hell of an arm, but I just don't get why he has so much support from fans.

His numbers are very, very mediocre.

I know he's inexperienced...I just don't see much from the guy and I never have.

Kyle Boller is basically the same type of quarterback except he's way more athletic than Flacco: incredibly arm strength

Boller played behind a swiss cheese offensive line in Baltimore and made a lot of piss poor decisions.

He was very overrated because of his arm strength...just like Joe.

I dunno, I lived in MD for pretty much all of the Boller years and was stuck watching the Ravens on TV every week and I can tell you without a doubt Flacco is a much more complete QB.

Physically Boller was/is a specimen, but he's got pudding for brains. His lines weren't THAT bad, he just had terrible receivers, something they STILL haven't really addressed, and he had a terrible grasp for the game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Flacco's the next coming, but he's no Boller, and thats a fact.

oh, and looks like game over, oh well :-/

Yeah, I'm not trying to make a case that he's as good as billed...

but he's tall, has a rocket for an arm, and a quick release which is essential to beat the elite Ds in the league. IF he does learn all the nuances of the position at this level, I don't see why he can't be a very good QB. As for now, he def has much room to grow.
