you can't honestly be saying that you would rather have Ainge be the backup quarterback. Kellen Clemens might not be a worthy starter, but he clearly has more experience and knows the offense better than Ainge. As for judging that pass, if it had been accurate, it looked as if it would have been an interception. To me, it looked like he was simply throwing it away.
Blindness? Are you serious.. I did not say he was the Jets savior. He absolutely doesn't deserve to be thrown under a bus after a couple plays either. What motivation would really be there? The guy has been treated unfair the entire time he has been a Jet. Talk about confidence issues, he has more of a reason to be insecure about playing time then, Sanchez. Hands down. Then with all of that pressure you stick him in for a couple plays and expect a Peyton Manning type response out of him? As if he hasn't been sitting on the bench the entire season, practicing with 2nd stringers, and not playing in a single game until now. At what point do those things factor in? I'm guessing probably instantly. The dude clearly is not the QB of the future, he probably doesn't have what it takes. Throwing him under the bus with everything that is on his plate, is a bit much though. That is my only point. That and maybe everyone should try to actually use some positive thinking for once, instead of sitting in front of their computer and pondering.. "What type of negative thread could I create today after this game?" It's stupid.
Clemens isn't worth a bag of snot as a backup either....he showed that today.....sorry guys.....but that's fact.
you just proved that you know nothing about football.... you act like the guy slept with ur mother or something....
because it's the truth.... Oh wait....Clemens didn't have an oline in front of him the first 3 years...he's still awesome I wonder what the 2009 excuse will be this year.....oh, here it is....."oh there was a CB coming up on T-Rich".....bahahahaha!!!
Clemens was terrible in his single pass attempt today. Did that merit starting this thread? Just seems like wasted breath to bitch about a guy who is gone at the end of this season.
like i said...come back after you learn something about football......until then....keep on trucking on that Clemens bandwagon.
Keep being a negative nancy...it looks good on you. Amazing argument there, good work, after that I'm absolutely convienced that Clemens does infact need to go. You sold me. Good work!
The point is moot. Clemens' contract is up after this season. Tanny drafted Ainge last year, traded up for Sanchez, and traded for O'Connell this year. Regardless of how good/bad Clemens is, he's not doing anything for this team.
hahahaha..negative nancy? I'm one of the more positive posters on this board......and after watching Clemens play today, for as little as he did...STILL looks like shit.....it's my opinion. Love it or leave it.
maybe true.... but as we saw today.... it only took an injury and all of a sudden the ball is in his hands...when i saw the reply .... i thought it was a sprained knee at least...
you're one of those unfortunate people that look at one play and fail to see the whole picture......that's fine....I don't hold that against you. Your mom shouldn't have smoked while she was pregnant.
