    Nice pick by Gamble.

Oh well. Ball could have been one foot ahead of Braylon instead at him.

Good play by cb , he was one ft off at most on the pass but if this was 21-3 as it should be we would all be sipping courvousier!!

No it was a bad pass, his only real stinker of the day. He needs to lead Edwards on the throw, not put it on him or a little behind him.

Very good game over all. Much imorpoved from the last couple of weeks.

True. It's better they find out he's a bum now than waste another year finding out he's one.

Mirer was actually rookie of the year, started all 16 games, though he got worse, not better over his career. Bad comparison IMO.

Sanchez looks exactly like what he is: a wet behind the ears rookie who needs some seasoning (on the field) if he's going to develop into a really good NFL QB. The game plan today is the one the Jets should have been using all season long: run, run, run, ok throw a pass, back to the run.

I think we'll look back at Sanchez career some day and see this game as the game where the Jets finally started to actually develop Mark Sanchez.

The defense has been good enough to stay in 9 of the 11 games the Jets have played this year. They missed on Miami 1 (bailed out by Sanchez and the O to stay in the game) and New England 2. The offense has actually only caused 2 of the 6 losses the Jets have, those being the New Orleans game and the disaster against Buffalo in the Meadowlands.

If the Jets had used the game plan they used today all year long they are probably 7-4 right now, with the Buffalo and Jacksonville games both sliding into the win column. That's the price of having a rookie head coach, not of having a rookie QB.

Sanchez needs to use his legs more and it appear he looked to do so sooner than normal yesterday. He needs to work on sliding but he can be a major weapon scrambling.
