So, I know it's difficult now, but is it totally unthinkable that we make the playoffs? Anyone care to shed some light on this? :hackett:
Of course it's not totally unthinkable but we'd have to go 10-6 (ergo winning all the games left) and teams in the hunt for a wild card spot need to REALLY screw things up... so it's highly unlikely! Of course if Brady, Moss and Welker all get injured in the next game the div is up for grabs but that's just a Jet's fan erotic dream. Nice avatar :S PS Anywyas even if we have a 1% chance of getting in that's not the season's primary objective anymore. At this point I'm more interested in developing Sanchez and Rex and team chemistry in general than getting to the playoffs with 0 chances to succeed once we get there.
There is no Playoffs!!! Face it.. We Spilt with NE we lost to Buffalo we lost twice to Miami = no chance of making the playoffs for us... Even if we run the table and finish out winning all games
we just lost 6 out of 7 and now we have to win 6 in a row----------doable but highly unlikely. c ya next year
Division Leaders Indy 10-0 Cincy 7-3 SD 7-3 NE 7-3 Wild Card Leaders Jax 6-4 Den 6-4 In the Hunt Pit 6-4 Bal 5-5 Hou 5-5 Mia 5-5 NYJ 4-6 Ten 4-6
We really would have to win out. Just do not see anyone with a 9-7 or worse record making the playoffs in the AFC.
I could see a 9-7 team making the playoffs out of the AFC this year. I just can't see the Jets being that 9-7 team, for one thing I can't see them getting to 9 wins at this point and another even if they do they aren't going to hiold many tiebreakers with our division and conference record. I will be surprised though if a 9-7 team doesn't get the last wildcard spot.
idk about 6 straight wins but it could happen I hava feeling the cinci game and atl game will mean the most for playoff hopes
We'd have to win out to have any shot. If we string together 3 wins in a row, then we can start talking about it. Until then, it's just silly.
