Well, since all of our games from here onward are meaningless, Sanchez can get some experience, and hopefully learn to stop throwing picks. This is one hell of a difficult franchise to root for. It's sad when you almost want them to be abysmal from the beginning, rather than getting expectations up and being teased by a good start, only to have them inevitably and thoroughly collapse, breaking your heart.
I don't believe anyone said they were giving up on him. The difference in letting Manning throw 28 picks is that they were not contenders. This team could of been. Our Rookie QB has lost 3 games on his own. However, he shows the short memory and has keep us in the game. I believe he will be good, but he just isn't ready for starting. Let alone in NY.
Why the hell do all topics have to be merged into one giant clusterfuck thread? Mine was its own topic. It was a legit topic.
We have let him start, we have let him learn we have let him take his lumps. He is making the same mistakes over and over again. If you are okay with losing in order to let him get experience then just say so. Its pretty much what the coach is saying at this point.
How many turnovers does he have through these first 10 games? 5 today. I am guessing, but I am sure he will beat that. BTW, this team has talent. VS the colts Mannings rookie year.
Let's keep gambling with the future instead of letting Kellen fall on the grenade. Jets coaches = illogical.
