    I don't talking tough

I don't mind an emotional coach

But you can't do both. Talking smack to the whole league and then crying after you lose 5 of 6 just makes you look pathetic.

Crying after winning a championship is ok, but crying after a loss is just gay.

Most of the Jet Fan Base really do come across like idiots. Any of you who have tried to truly speak about something you were emotionally tied too it brings you to tears. It does not make you less of a man.

I disagree with what a lot of posters said. I feel like his speech had a very positive affect on the team and showed how much he cares about their success. I'm sure anyone who played football in H.S. had a coach get emotional after a big loss, and the affect it had on you.

You have to think there are players on this team that are going to be making fun of him if we lose this weekend. I have to work with Patriot fans and I'm already hearing it from them. Revis already hinted that he felt uncomfortable watching him cry.

I don't think any Jets players will make fun of the Head Coach if they lose this weekend, considering the players are the ones who play the game and would be largely responsible for the loss

I hope you're right. We need to end this slide. I just think the emotional stuff only goes so far and you know how athletes can be. I know he cried after his first win too and if this is going to be a habit there are always going to be players that don't appreciate that kind of sensativity.

Talk smack and cry when it's not going well. A lack of character in your leader. He is turning your franchise in to a laughing stock.

He picked the wrong week to try and inspire his players with his tears. The Pats are going to hang 60 on the Jets and there will be a lot of turmoil in the fan base as well as the locker room.

I couldn't care less. This past few days I have heard more nonsensical things about the Jets than in any post game week in my life - from post game speeches to hot dogs to false bravado to crying. The media needs to get a life and cover football and stop being so judgmental and self important and the fans need to calm down and realize that this team was not going to the SB with a rookie QB anyway. At least this team has direction and a plan, which is more than I can say for the past few seasons. How about we give Ryan - and Sanchez - more than a season to show what they can do.

I can't support RR crying when we lose. That is bitch-made. We need to turn this thing around in a bad way.

They are losing close games, and could easily have won last week. Nobody needs to be fucking crying.

I get the feeling from interviews that players would run through a brick wall for Rex. I doubt anyone would make fun of him.

I agree with you right now Willie. I'm thinking down the road if we continue to lose, the crying game is going to grow old. I didn't like when Dick Vermeil was crying at his press conferences either. If you're winning it doesn't matter but when you're going south and your leader is pulling this every week there is going to be a mutiny eventually.
