Are you out of your mind? Where does your rationale come from? Freeman is not even a NFL level Quarter back , while sanchez in my Eyes is. Theres a lot of expectation put on Sanchez , especially with our fast start , but this is basicly his senior year of playing ball and there was bound to be bumps along the way. Freeman??!?!?!? it has always worked on this message board before. the beauty of the internet is we have no need to keep things pleasant between ourselves because we never need to deal with each other in real life. so when someone does something dumb all you need to do is call them a dumbass instead of doing that constructive criticism crap that everyone's fragile ego's have grown to love.
I was strongly against drafting Freeman, however he did play a nice game. I feel if he fulffils his talent 100% he can be a slightly downgraded version of Donovan McNabb (let's say 90% of his ability). With Sanchez I think he can become a lot better than that. Im trying to think of a QB to compare him with but I just can't come up with one...
I think we should trade Mark Sanchez and Bart Scott for Freeman. This guy is obviously the future and the OP is 110% right!! (typed with extreme sarcasm) What is wrong? We should have drafted anyone except who we've drafted the past 20 years....big boo boo. These threads along with the "should we get (insert washed up player) who has just been cut because he couldn't make it on a shitty team" threads make me want to punch my monitor.

Bottom line..... I'm still shaking in my shoes at the prospects of Sanchez playing in Snow, Wind and REAL cold weather..... Even next year, it's going to be all new again, if this team is good and goes into December playoff ready, I'll be scared shitless with California Boy. I'm ALL IN and hope to all hell that Sanchez is the real deal.. I have to be... The Jets next decade depends highly on it. But, there's no way I'd have drafted him....
