If this season is going anywhere it certainly needs to start off with a resounding all phases of the game effort against Jacksonville. We then travel to NE. If we can somehow put it together in NE and come away with a W, it will do wonders to our psyche as a team and both a fan base. I enjoy this site much better when we are going north not south. Lets hope we can get back there before the end of November.
And maybe jenkins and leon washington have miraculous recoveries and come back by december. its nice thinking positively but your hopes are much more reasonable.
I am just stating what I believe needs to happen to get this team back as relevant, thats what is all about is it not. Turning on NFL network and having them talk about your team. I really question anyway who totally dismisses the chance of us winning in NE. We did it last year and also in atleast one of Mangini's years, so that 2 of last 5.
Very funny Reilly. Kudos!!! Don't make a habit of attributing qoutes to me though please, I catch enough shit for what I actually post myself.

Plus we caught them at the right time earlier this year.
If we win the next two games I will be feeling very good about this team again. Im still optimistic, we never looked like a bad team collectively, weve just found ways to lose games that were well in our grasp.
Please point out where I can see this writing. I can see the writing on the wall and to me it reads 12-4 or 11-5. I think I'll stick with the writing on the wall in this scenario.
well seeing that the best record we can hope for over the next two games is 2-0, to get us to 6-4 not sure what more we can do.
Do you guys honestly, and I mean honestly think you are going to win all but 1 game for the rest of the year? Well, I can appreciate your optimism.
Yes, they SHOULD beat: JAX at home CAR at home BUF in Toronto TB in Tampa They also COULD beat: ATL and CIN at home The two that we will have the most trouble with will be NE and IND on the road. A 4-4, 5-3, or 6-2 record the rest of the way seems attainable. I personally am betting on 5-3.
Well, at least you're honest. I've seen several posters on here that seem to think the Pats game is an automatic win for the Jets. I am not saying it's an automatic win for the Pats either but to say the Pats don't have a chance, is totally ridiculous. Even if we weren't first in the AFC, it's still a home game so that usually works out pretty well for us. One more thing... THE PHINS SUCK! And since I know there are several fans trolling this board I'll say this, you guys got REALLY REALLY lucky last week! Prepare for a BLOWOUT LOSERS!! (Sorry I'd do it on my own board, but they haven't been coming around too much this week...)
I don't think anyone is declaring it a guarantee win, that would be nuts. We are a solid dog and to go to NE and win in two weeks would certainly be classified as an upset. With that said I don't see any reason we can't Be careful what you say about the dolphins, one thing they are is dangerous and they will give you some trouble.
Todd, I don't exactly get it why a lot of posters are giving you crap for this post. It realistic. We beat Pats before and we can do it again. Don't give me "we are 1-4 in last 5 games going a rough patch" excuses. We manhandled Brady and Moss and we can certainly do it again. Next excuse would be "Brady was still getting into the rhythm and looks all pro now." OK, whatever, we had Sanchez and his 2 games NFL experience. Now we have Sanchez and his 8 games NFL experience. Next excuse: "Well we lost Leon and Jenkins". Well we still managed to get almost 800 in the last 3 wks., and shut down Jokeland and the Wild Cat. Next excuse: "We are the SoJ". We were the same team last time we beat them. As for the Jacksonville game, our run D has improved over the last few games and our pass D is one of the best. I see this to be a victory as long as we win the turnover battle.
