Well, if You're looking for 14-2, It wasn't happening this year... So, that leaves you with this year being a TRANSITION YEAR... No matter what is said and no matter what happens, this is the build up for next year.. See.. My stated goals for the year were: 1) See and watch the developments of Sanchez as an NFL Qb who is hopefully playing at a real good level by the end of the year and then can take that into the offseason to take the next step 2) See and watch the Defense develop into a top unit - add a few players in the offseason and take it to another level - The Jenkins loss can be a blessing in disguise as we learn who else we have in th einterior and what we need to get without relying on Jenkins. So, from where I sit, the Jets are arguable AHEAD OF SCHEDULE..... And honestly, I think having Rex Ryan Pissed off as all hell at Miami and working his tail off to beat them will help us out in the long run... Thought he did a great job since last game with the D sans Jenkins.... Yeah, this team was so much better when Rich Kotite ran the show. I don't remember the Jets being called "lovable losers" at the time. And even if they were, I'd much rather have this version of the Jets. Go jump on the Patriots bandwagon so you can be happy every week.
