I think everyone is well aware of who he is and what he's doing at this point. If not we can turn to ESPN at any given moment for an update. My point is simply that he sucked for us, let us down and that's on top of the fact that I was completely sick of the guy about five years before he came here and tanked a season for us so he could weasel his way back to the NFC North. So after trudging through a swamp after another brutal Jet loss I find it particularly irritating to come here and find a "Jet fan" gloating over another "dramatic comeback" from Favre because the opposing kicker missed a kick in living room conditions. Spare me. Or at least just continue in your thread from last week, or risk incurring the wrath of Jet fans whose team actually lost yesterday.

Why do you even bother talking about Favre here anymore WSW? I'm not saying that as implied criticism, but as a genuine sincere question. Most people here have emotional baggage from last year that clouds their opinion of him. And even those that don't most of them don't know much about him outside of the one year he was here, so they spout opinions about his play (this year, 2007, his entire career) based upon reading stats or blogs or whatever, not personally watching him play themselves. They just extend what they think they know from last year, to the past and into the present. Why is it even worth bothering? The Jets came out better seeing him move on, and Favre came out ahead being with Vikes instead of Jets. Win-win all around, for both sides. I suggest just letting it lie there, and not bring it up any more here.

Favre doesn't have Shottenheimer as his Offensive coordinator this year. that should explain why he's awesome again.
Nah, I think that has gotten old even for the diehards in that department. Besides, bizarrely enough, I only get flamed for Favre-love only in threads/my posts that have nothing to do with Favre. Likely haven't heard of Pavlov. Or more like, having roasted me for supposedly being all-about-Favre, they get madder when I don't fit that stereotype, than when I do. Go figure.
Maybe, maybe until next week's "OMG Brett Favre is so great!!!" thread from WSW (BB) moments after the Raiders kick our ass. Then I won't even have the driving home cooling off period, I'll be steps from the computer, it will get ugly. Ugly, man, ugly.
