This is a perfect exhibit of SOJ . My one game for the year and the Jets gave me my first and last ever loss at Giants Stadium.
Its a different let down. Those old Jets didnt have a "swagger". Didnt have Rex, Sanchez. But they have had Shotty for a while............
its always been the fans. SOJ would be if this team went to the playoffs and then a pass went off someone's hands, then a helmet and then out of bounds for a touchback which then the winning drive ensued for the opposing team. right now this team is hurt and the rookie is being schemed for. that happens to all the teams with rookie QBs. tony dungy used to say "next man up" - i hope these depth players get it together. they are going to be called on. But that 3-0 start means shit now. Its a 3-3 team that looks like they will be in every game this year but won't always come up with the win. oh well.
Meh, I can't complain if anyone complains if this is SOJ. Losing three straight after a 3-0 start is a small-scale version of it. I still think we should be past that though.
Fuck the SOJ phrase, it's so stupid. How pathetic is it for us Jets fans to go around saying SOJ all the time. There are plenty of teams who have experienced the same ups and downs as this team and they don't go around saying anything like that. Ever heard a Vikings fan say "same old vikings"? They haven't even won a superbowl and have been to four, they have more of a reason to say it than us. Give the QB and coach a chance to grow into something before you give up on them.
