It will be interesting to see how he handles the media and the negativity coming off this game. I just saw a clip from the press conference, and no exaggerating, it looked like he was crying.....I really hope he doesn't go into a funk now. If so, we need to turn to the bullpen. If he is playing poorly by halftime next week, I think a move may have to be made. I just hope he responds well, considering he has probabally never been booed in his life aka "Vince Young" We all know how that turned out

He looked like he wanted to cry the entire 4th quarter. He looked the same way in the NO game. He needs to cut that shit out. The leader of the team can't be sitting on the bench with his head down pouting. Seriously.

I can deal with the INT's - they suck, but I understand he's a rookie and shit happens. The pouting, fuck no, that shit has to go. Immediately.

He was telling the truth. He said that he gifted the Bills the football game. Owning up to his mistakes is just being honest with himself.

if you sit him at any point in this season - he will become the next Vince Young.

deal with the growing pains. All of you.

Bunch of grown men who have the minds of children when it comes to this game. Fucking idiots.

By this logic. Peyton Manning would have been benched in his 1st season with Indy. Imagine if Jim Mora did that?

Thankfully all of you are just fans and have no affect on this team.... oh wait you do, and thats what pisses me off the most. Pussy Jets fans.

You can't bench him he is the face and franchise QB. Because we decided to start him from the get go we made a firm commitment to him. Now its time to own up to that decision and live and die with Mark Sanchez for better or worse. I wanted him to start after the bye week in week 9 but whatever no big deal as he is learning right now.

If you can kill his confidence he isn't the guy. Confidence is a product of who you are not fleeting success or failure.

Exactly. You can't have yer leader sulking in the corner. Schotty was talking to him, and it looked like he was being "gentle." If this behavior continues, Rex needs to slap Sanchez and tell him to stop pouting.

You're right! This guy is gonna be the face of the franchise for the next 10 years! I find it amazing how quickly alot of Jets fans bale on a QB.

I curious to see how he responds to this. My guess is he'll learn and get better.

Unfortunately, after two weeks, some fans expectations ceered around the Super Bowl already, instead of turning the organization into a winner and getting better. So now they're disappointed by their own overrating of their team.

The Jets are getting better on both sides of the ball, but they aren't a SB caliber team yet. It takes time.

I'm sure you would love it if everyone came in here to say that Sanchez is the greatest and everything is going to be fucking great. So if Sanchez is sucking it up next week like today (not sure if he could do any worse) do you think we should keep him in? Rex is the one who said that this is a win now team. Enough with the rebuilding bullshit. There is no such thing as rebuilding anymore in the NFL. I'm not saying that Clemens is the answer, but Sanchez hasn't been doing a good job of managing the game. I can deal with one or two picks a game, but anything more than that and he is becoming the weakest link to this offense. I am just telling it like it is. If Sanchez is becoming a liability to this team, he needs to sit and watch

He looked shell-shocked on the sideline. Did anyone else notice that moment in the 2nd half when Shotty was talking to him after a pick and he was just staring off into space?

Sanchez will be a good quarterback, it will take time...if our running game continues to perform we will make the playoffs with sanchez....we CANNOT quit on him he is only 6 games old....patience

I recall seeing him standing on the bench trying to get the pathetic crowd to wake up. He definately wasn't just sitting there crying on the bench.

OK, explain to me how the jets are getting better offensively. The passing game has sucked for a majority of the season. I don't think it is called "bailing on a qb" in our case. He is a rookie and needs to see the game from the sidelines for a few games. I think it can definitely help both him and the franchise.

There is a big difference between Peyton' rookie year and Mark's. The colts were still a terrible football team when Manning was a rookie. We have a "win now team". Our D is still very good and kept us in all games (besides Miami) If Rex feels that he is a liability and Clemens gives us a better chance to win, then he needs to make the move

we have a young core. i wouldn't really call that a "win now team". but i'm a ny rangers fan too, so my idea of win now is slightly skewed.
