i've said all along that he just starts slow and he would eventually pick it up

but most of the talk about TJ was that he wasn't hitting the hole with authority, which he was not, and those people hardly need to apologize

the bills defense is also crap

First rule when evaluating Jones is to eliminate all big runs. Therefore he's done nothing.

So what you are saying is that all other RB are getting 7 yards per carry?

Well then he's done nothing for 146 yard and a TD so far.

I sure wish the rest of our team could do nothing like that.

    +1....agreed.

TJones runs like a pansy.....and it shows when he gets contact.

Bah. Two long runs don't make up for the total lack of ex[plosveness he has shown this season. C'mon.

if he doesn't get yards against the bills then when? he's an ok back, that's all, nothing more nothing less.

he's been a decent player for jets but its not like he's made the bears regret trading him.
on a side note, i get the feeling the jets are going to pluck a gem of RB somewhere in the up coming draft.

Get off your high horse moron. What are you going to say the next time Jones has a bad game? He's been tremendous today, no one would deny that.

2 long runs?.....dude....you could've ran thru those holes.

My beef is...when Jones gets contact...he takes a nosedive into the turf/grass...every fuckin' time. Leon, on the other hand, bounces around and fights for extra yards.

Oh come on!!! With the holes the OL carved on those two runs half of the RBs in this league could have run those big runs!

The problem is in all the other carries he didn't look anything special.

He is having a good day, but i doubt he can run for 100 yr next week. To me he still sucks. Our defense is slacking off right now.....

Every single one of T Jones big runs is a product of blocking PERFECTION. Have you seen the size of those holes on his big runs? You and I could rip off gains like that behind that blocking. I still want to see more Greene.

I've been TJ's number one fan here and have been ripped for it numerous times.

Dont get me wrong tho, I still want to see some of #23.

so he had two long runs...ok...That doesn't say anything. Any running back with the hole thomas jones had would have gotten the same result. Jones has regressed this season. Don't give a shit about the total yards he has at this point.
