    Fantasy genius or shameless homer???

Cotch is out, Brad Smith is out, Stuckey's stuck in Cleveland... DeSean Jackson is also gonna be shadowed by Asomugha.

My other WR's are Andre Johnson and Colston.

    Bold move or dumb move?

Its a high risk, high reward type of move. I'd do it.

I'd do it, I have a feeling Clowney might have a big game.

I'm in. Just picked up Clowney to replace Cotchery on my team tomorrow. It will make the game more fun - I will be rooting for a bomb to Clowney on every single offensive snap.

    1st & 10 - bomb to Clowney
    3rd & 1 - bomb to Clowney
    1st & Goal - bomb to Clowney

My choices are Bobby Wade or Clowney. Going with the Clown, byes this week are cutting my roster short a bit with Reggie Wayne and Jason Witten out. So it is Keller at TE and Clowney at flex, also have David Harris and Calvin Pace at LB. Hoping for a big day for the Jets on both sides of the ball, it will decide my game perhaps.

I picked up Clowney this week because Calvin Johnson looked iffy (he's inactive) and it's either him or Bernard Berrian. I've been asking the same question of whether it's a homer move or if it's the smart play. Buffalo's got 2 DBs hurting and I think Clowney can have a big game. Clowney or Berrian? Right now, I'm leaning towards the Clown.

EDIT: Berrian in a dome but vs. the Ravens D or the Clown in rainy, windy weather but vs. a suspect and injured Buffalo secondary. I would appreciate any insight/criticisms on whether I'm being an incredible, optimistic homer or a genius. If Berrian has a big game I'm going to be royally pissed.

The only things I can add is the Ravens secondary has been their biggest problem this year. If the Vikes spread them out like the Bengals did they will be exposed. Berrian is the safe play in my eyes but Clowney you just don't know, it is his first time starting and the weather may be a factor.

Thanks, after reading this thread, I decided to pick up Clowney, myself. I originally had jeremy mcclain from the eagles starting.

Thanks for the input. I went to my 2 consigliaris and they both gave me the opposite advice. One of them pointed out the Ravens secondary being pretty suspect. Considering everything I did what any FF owner woulds do: I flipped a coin. :rofl:It came out Berrian, so I'm going to start Berrian. I really wanted to pull the trigger on Clowney though, and if it wasn't for the weather, I would have started Clowney, but fuck it, the coin doesn't lie. It's a 50-50 proposition as it is anyway.

If I didn't have an option like Berrian, I would do it. The coin doesn't lie. LOL. Either way, if Clowney has a good game, it probably means we win, so I wouldn't be upset either way.

I don't think clowney is the right start if you sit Jackson, but Jackson is a decent sit because of his matchup. Because of the weather in NY today I have decided, for now, to sit Braylon and play jackson though, hoping that they can find a way to get him away from Nnamdi.
