The Jets could not stop the dolphins ALL FUCKING DAY. If they kick a game tying FG, we're going to OT. Yes that can happen, or they choose to run more Wildcat and still score. Is there a chance that the Jets could have won in OT if the Lphins were forced to kick a FG? Sure. But is the chance more likely than the Jets were going to win the game? I'd say no. The Jets were outplayed and the Lphins were making it obvious. I think Henne was on the field for 3 plays the last drive. That's just ridiculous. If it makes it OK for you to believe that the Edwards call changed the course of the game...great. Just don't ask me for money to pay off your debts.

Reality...Miami should have been charged a timeout. Reality...it is likely they kick a FG instead of go for it with :10 seconds left with no timeouts. I've stated several times I understand we could not stop them. It doesn't change the fact that they are likely going to kick a game tying FG instead of going for a TD w/o any timeouts left.
I was watching with Dolphans, and they all said "How's that not a touchdown? The DB never touched him?" They scored on the next play, so at the time I was just thinking about my fantasy team (and maybe another TD making the Braylon trade look even better). I did comment about them losing a T/O, but didn't give it much thought after the fact (was too pissed at their performance to focus)

I thought the evidence was inconclusive. But it appeared to me watching it live, that edwards was touched with his leg on the ground by the shoulder of defender 2, about the 3-inch line. So i was pissed we were so far from the goal-line, after the challenge resulted in an over-turn. That said I understand why we are upset, but you do realize the reason we lost wasn't the refs fault right? hell they gave us gift after gift after gift with defensive penalties down the field when we were on the offense. and the PI against edwards as he was running deep to the endzone, was a huge gift. But with some of the insane grabs he made last night, that one Edwards still could have been able to catch. it worked out for us, and it was a difficult grab, but he still should have had that one. that said edwards performance was the only reason we were even in the damn game. what a debut by Edwards!!!
If the play is called correctly (I do agree that it shouldn't have been overturned) the Jets don't run an additional play, putting an extra few seconds on the clock. I suppose that then they would have had time to spike the ball and run the same play anyway if they wanted to.
I actually never threatened you. I asked you if you really wanted to take this conversation to the gutter. If I wanted to ban you for that comment you would have been banned already. I don't disagree with you that we were out played and could not stop the wildcat. I do disagree that Miami probably would have changed their philosophy with one less timeout at the end giving us a chance in OT. I didn't say we lost because of the play. And I didn't say we would have won if it had been called correctly.
