I'm sorry, but this thread is ridiculous. The Jets scored 14 fourth quarter points. One single simple little stop by the defense in the 4th quarter and the Jets win or go to OT. You must have Keller on your fantasy team and needed a big night to win your week to put up a thread like this.

Didn't even see the game, but from the highlights on NFL.com , it looks apparent that we had no answer to the wildcat.
BTW doofus (OP) Miami has the 2nd best D against the run, and we put up 27 pts against them.
At least we know that Miami will give the Pats a good bashing.
Hate to say it, but Props to Miami.

I actually had Braylon and the Jets D on my fantasy and I lost because the refs screwed me of my 2nd Braylon TD and the Jets D like giving me I think negative points this week.

I do have Keller in 2 leagues though but I am not a fool to start him since he isn't going to be used for passing downs.

I Thought the offense played good and Schotty did a solid job calling the plays but i do have a problem with not continuing to run the rock with Leon in the 2nd half. An as for Keller and Cotch i just think Cotch was hurt and wasn't on the field that much and Keller just didn't show up probably the worst performance of his young career.

We didn't do a whole lot of damage on the ground so that point doesn't really have a whole lot of say.

You do realize the field is only 100 (120 if the endzones are counted) yards long. If you throw a bomb from your own 30 and complete it for a 60 yard gain there is only 10 yards to the endzone anymore. Sanchez completed every deep throw today except the final desperation hail mary pass. Sanchez can't go deep more than a couple of times a game if he completes the bombs with such efficency and his TOP is cut down as the D can't get off the field.

    Agreed for the most part.

We needed to run more shotgun. Like I said the blueprint for this game was what San Diego and the Colts did to Miami. Allow Miami to run, but constantly abuse them with the passing game. This game is won if we had
put up more points on the board, what the D could or could not do would have been inconsequential.

So if the O puts up 27 points and we lose it's because the offense stunk?
Gzus people, get a grip! The offense did what it had to do. If the D would've gotten even one or two stops this game wouldn't have even been close.

The bottom line is, the offnese did a good enough job to get the win, but the defense shat the bed.

I'll admit that i've called schotty out on this board as someone who sucks, but he had nothing to do with this loss.

    This was all jets defense

I don't agree with the OP at all on his original post, but he does have a point here. This is unreadable.

In hindsight, even some of the best coaches make some weird calls / decisions. Sometimes I question what the calls/reasons are, that being said...this was the wrong week to attack BS. His game plan for the week had nothing to do with this loss. If we had some extra time on the clock or we get 1 stop in the 4rth qtr we win the game. This loss is with Rex and the defense and he took the full blame. This is only Rexs 5th game as HC and hes done a great job so far....Im cutting him alot of slack until I see his adjustments for todays game. Also, Mark has a lot of flexibility of changing some of the calls at the line AND where he throws the ball..once again, its his 5th game and Im cutting him even more slack. Were going through some growing pains. I may not like it but long term we have got a hell of a team growing up in front of us.

I love schotty the guy who started this threads an idiot. The ham string injured cotch only got 1 catch cus he couldnt run as well. Keller doesnt get catches because hes never open because atleast before braylon a corner was helping to cover him because of the lack of catching threats. Schotty mixes the plays up well and with a rookie qb and pre braylon edwards we had no dominate receivers. We scored what 27 points on miami. I say nice job schott

Holy crap this is pointless. If you can't get one player involved in the offense, the whole thing is shit, even though they put up 27 points with a guy that's been behind center for less than 2 months.

I think Schotty makes some shitty calls, but when your D can't stop a single drive, let alone 4 drives, and your O has caught the lead, from behind, on 3 occasions in the game, you aren't going to win. Anyone that even looks twice at the O for the Miami loss clearly isn't thinking.

This whole loss was on Rex. From the D to clock management.

Schotty will get a head coaching job if he is too good. We need to keep him and build the O with Sanchez.
