Spin of words. I NEVER said that Revis should not be included. YOU said Revis was not a shutdown corner. That is just retarded. Never at any point did i say to blame the whole d minus Revis. You truly are a moron.
The Jets are tied for 31st in the NFL with 4 sacks. I don't care if you blitz every play, if you can't sack the QB then it's pointless. Defense looked like Swiss cheese tonight. Horrible.
The sad part is they didn't blitz that much and after hitting Brady 23 times we don't even touch Henne
Not tonight he wasnt. But when you say that he is not a shutdown corner in general........ that is just not being fair at all
Maybe I'm in the minority here, well, prob. not, Darrelle Revis other than one play, had a pretty fucking good game considering how shitty the 7 in front of him played. Although I thought Jenkins wasn't too bad.
understood too, but henne shouldn't had the game he had, cant even imagine what his qb rating was, and i betcha ya palmers jersey was probaly dirty by the end of the game, while hennes was bright, clean and orange
I agree, like i said other then a few tough blown plays, he was able to shed blocks and save a few sure TD's as well as some long plays. This does not excuse him from being included in the horrible D performance tonight though.
Absolutely. Just saying, even the elite D's have their troubles (look at the "almost" breakdown of the Pit D to blow the lead against San Diego last week)
unfuckin real how da fuck can we not show up MNF? we got a national ass whoopin for everyone to see, our defense was absolutely pathetic. We hold the Saints offense to 10 points yet allow 31 points to the dolphins? REALLY????
He was good but not like everyone has come to expect...I'm only being hard on him because someone wanted to exclude him from having a bad night....he wasn't like he was the first 4 weeks but probably was the best we had.
We should sign Champ Bailey, Demarcus Ware, Jared Allen and Troy Polamalau. That would make us elite.
