You guys have a great offensive scheme which utilizes your running backs perfectly. You have 2 enormous running backs that are the size of our linebackers, but they are faster than any of our linebackers. With the wildcat, we can't be aggressive and use blitzes, and it pretty much takes away any advantage we had against the first four teams we played this year Congrats.

 

No excuses. Just facts. Our #2 and #3 CBs are out. Out best pass rusher is in his first game this season. Our #2 WR is hurt. Get serious. This team in November will not only win, it'll demoralize the Phags. 41-3. Go ahead and write it down, I want credit after the game.

Rhodes was the closest to Ginn, if he couldn't make the knockdown how can you expect Revis to make the play? Maybe Revis should have his excellent tackle where he shed the blocker, rotated and made the tackle taken away. Personally I believe the closest person to the play has the best opportunity to make a play. Stretch Armstrong was a toy, not reality.

That is NOT the point that i am arguing. Your initial argument was that Revis is not a shutdown corner (you never initially said "tonight" was not a shutdown corner). My point is that he showed enough tonight in an otherwise pathetic defense to make me think that you are wrong DESPITE the blown coverage on a few plays.
