The best offense in the NFL put up 10 points on the Jets. It put slightly above average running numbers and poor passing numbers against a Jets defense with two major injuries in the secondary. The Dolphins think that with a much worse offense - an unbalanced one at that - and a significantly worse defense, they are going to put up even those 10 points? Let's not forget that the one touchdown that the Saints offense did have was set up by one of Sanchez's three interceptions. Let's forget that Dustin Keller was double covered for most of the game, the Jets now have Braylon Edwards to shift the defense's coverage away from Keller and that the Dolphins have been horrendous at stopping receiving tight ends this season. Some Dolphins fans take that part realistically enough. They say "low scoring game". If a superior defense holds the Jets' Braylon Edwards-less offense to 10 points when the QB is having a horrendous day, what in the world would keep the Jets' offense from scoring more than 10 points against the Dolphins? The wildcat? Is that the only thing that someone can use to argue in the Dolphins' favor at this point? The same wildcat that was shut down by Rex Ryan's scheme last year? Let me guess: The Jets' defense doesn't have the same personnel as the 08' Ravens' defense and isn't as good, right? That would be a fine argument if it weren't for the fact that the Jets 09' defense is performing better than either the Ravens 08' or 09' defenses, and doing it coming after the toughest part of the schedule with what has been a less effective offense than either Ravens team had or has. I don't care how teal or orange your sun glasses are. How the fuck can anyone predict a Miami win on Monday?
That was going to be my guess, but that means we would have to score on 14 straight drives. ricky williams
Alot of people are throwing in scores that say dolphins will score a touchdown....lol while i do not think it will be a blowout....the dolphins will not score a td...... 14-6 Jets
That's exactly what I was going to post, so I'll add one: 0 That's the number of Dolphin fans posting here tomorrow.
Leon Washington Kickoff Return for TD. Sanchez 200yds, 2td, 1 int Jones 75 yards, 1td Edwards- 2 catches 38 yards Jets win 31-10
W/ Cotchery and a full Defense: 27-9 W/O Cotch and NO LITO/Strickland (can't trust the Media) 20-13 Guys, Drew Brees and clan scored 1 TD off our injured D....
17-3 Jets... I still don't trust our O but I certainly love our D... the only way Miami scores a TD in this game is if the offense gives them one.
Dolphin fans are really thinking they have a shot over at finheaven. I'm seeing posts where they say "Henne is going to play better than SNATCHEZ" Yeah, actual quote. Anyways. I'm saying Jets win 38-10. Henne will be running all around, no time to pass to his very average WRs and he will be sacked at least 4 times, picked off twice. Sanchez will throw an INT, along with 250 yards and 2 TDs. One to Keller and one to Edwards. Leon will have a long return, might be caught by his laces by the kicker or something heartbreaking like that. Also....Shonne Greene will have some playing time.
Bahahaha +1 merely because you removed that sig. Thankee. I can take a joke btw, I just cringe everytime I see it!
