Is that really the case or is that you just talking now?

I think us scoring first will be the most important part of the game. IF we get up 2 scores I think Henne and the phins o will be struggling and trying to hard to score and start blowing the game with turnovers.

Every week almost every expert has picked against us.

Not that I really care. Few of the "experts" know any more than many of the people on this board, and in some cases, there are people here who know more about the sport.

But it is true that we're underdogs all the time. *shrug* It's practically a given that every week someone will start a thread titled "Jets underdogs AGAIN?!?"

Broncs have to be the biggest surprise of the season. After what seemed like total turmoil in the off-season, i don't think their was anybody who realistically thought they would be 5-0 or even 3-2 for that matter.

I watched the game just to see the Pats lose; that was my only interest, but Orton can throw the Egg (my Dr. Suess pun).

As some others have said, I also think the Fins have a better shot with Henne than Pennington under center. Pennington would have been SLAUGHTERED by the NYJ defense not being able to stretch the field, an absolute obliteration. Henne can atleast chuck it deep, and will keep the D honest. I still expect a Jets win.

I was cheering for the Broncos like they were my favorite team and next week Ill be cheering for the Titans....my favorite teams are the Jets and anyone playing the Pats, Bills, or Phins. If it wasn't for the fluke play against Cincy they would be 4-1 which I didnt see that coming either way.

The Jets have actually gotten respect from some of the pundits at NFL Network. Not Mariucci, of course, he has picked against the Jets every single game. But Baldinger, Martz and Marshall Faulk have seen what the Jets have done and picked us more than against us. Dukes, Sapp and Deion started off picking against us until they saw the defense was for real and then started picking the Jets.

Mark Schlereth has picked against the jets every week this year without fail. It's remarkable his lack of respect...

...that being said I'm SHOCKED Wickersham picked the jets this week.

They are picking against the Jets because it is the SAFE thing to do. C'mon, we all know this. The Jets are 3-1. They are on the road, and it is an important divisional game. If this were the old Jets, they would be WAY overdue for a crash game.

....BUT......They aren't the OLD Jets. There isn't going to be any crash game this time, Sanchez won't repeat those mistakes, and it doesn't matter that this is on the road. The Fins are going to be in a world of shit shortly after 8:30 PM tonight.

    This ain't your daddy's J-E-T-S.

I don't have the NFL Network. All I see is ESPN and the FOX/CBS "experts."

I'm comfortable still saying that more experts pick against us than for us. *shrug* I don't care. I like shoving their noses in it.

I'm glad you've gained some Team pride based on sustaining 8 minuet drives in your college option sets. Id like you to realize that you rolled over a terrible team that couldn't catch a cold let alone sustain a drive of their own. This evening you will gain an appreciation for a team that excels in all phases of the game and doesn't have to use trickery to beat a team. Ill be there tonight in the club level and will be screaming my head off. I'm sure it will be a great game , but sorry my friend the end result is the Jets will be victorious!!!!!! :jets::beer:

Man, you are really missing out. They have more objective coverage than ESPN has EVER had. I don't even watch the ESPN football shows or the retarded pre-game specials anymore.

Yeah I know. Instead, I have like 8 of every movie channel. Thanks honey! I don't watch a lot of the pregames or ESPN anyway. I just catch bits and pieces of ESoxPatsN here and there, and I catch the picks before games on the networks.

Is NFLN even on cable? I thought it was on like Directv or whatever.
