Braylon said the offense here is the same one he was in in 2007 and 2008 so he's ready to go with the playbook. How could that be? He must just be talking about similar terminology?

Rob Chudzinski was the Browns' OC for 2007-2008 and his previous job was the TEs coach for the Chargers. I would imagine his offensive terminology and philosophy as well as his playbook were probably similar to Schotty's.

If he can step right in and play without missing a beat that would obviously be outstanding. It raised my eyebrows a bit though, leaving me concerned he maybe doesn't realize he has things to learn.

    I'm probably just being paranoid.

Yeah, I think you're being a little paranoid. From his reaction, tone, and mannerisms to the question, I thought he was being honest and knew what he was saying.

Like you said, if true, it's outstanding. Almost scary.

Well I have an extra straight jacket for you around here somewhere. I'm paranoid, but part of my gut has this weird feeling that things may fall into place. Schotty is a smart guy, I just don't want him to overthink things and get cute because Sanchez is still getting his feet wet.

If Edwards can really step into an active role early with the Jets, he immediately opens the field of vision for MS very wide, instead of only feeling comfortable in the clutch throwing to guys like Leon or Cotch or Keller, he can roll to either side and have an option that can get some separation when it counts.

Am I worried about Edwards' ego getting in the way. Yep. But I also know that this isn't a weak lockerroom. None of these guys are above the team, and I think they will let BE know that early and that they expect him to work just as hard as they are.

Against my better judgment, I am starting to feel like this risk is going to yield some really exciting results.

someone posted on article on here yesterday and schotty was saying the same thing about him. he was amazed that he already knew a lot of the hot reads/different "secret" terminology.

if he really is good to go on the playbook it is pretty awesome for the team.

did anyone here the part about Drew Coleman?

someone asked if Drew Coleman is the fastest on the team and Kerry Rhodes said yeah, he's pretty fast, he's up there.

Braylon asks kerry "which one is drew coleman?"

    kerry: "Number 30"

    Braylon: "number 30?(starts whispering...)that dude can't play!

LOL, Braylon basically said Drew Coleman sucks

I don't recall exactly what he said, but I'm pretty sure I didn't hear him say that. (The part about "can't play," I heard the "number 30?" part)

I like the BE trade for this season but I'm still unsure about losing Stuckey and Trusnik, two, at least imo, good players/prospects
