Ahh JVils, what a playuh you are. Not just in terms of talent, but intelligence. I miss him, and I am CERTAIN he would fit into our present system, but hey, Mangini likes to get rid of talent, and who can argue with that... now.

I think the Eagles home game in 2007 was before Vilma got hurt. That's probably the only time.

It was a joke but maybe too obscure of a reference. Someone had to get it, even if it wasn't funny.

Also, I still wish we kept Vilma, I said it at the time, the whole of-season when we traded him. Imagine our LB corps with Vilma, that's 80s Giants territory right there.

I think it was an upright move of Sanchez to call and apologize to Vilma on Tuesday.

Even though the hit wasn't legal, it wasn't an egregious violation. But rules are rules. I just wonder if Peyton or Tom would have had that flag thrown.

Soon maybe Sanchez will be in the buddy buddy class with the refs, which I hate, but hope we get the benefit of seeing as so many other teams do. Did you guys see the Vikes on Monday? Favre buttering them up on offense and Jared Allen on D....

I knows James Farrior is getting up there in age, but I always loved him too, the guy is a tackling machine.

At least he got some rings with Pitt

If NFL Network ever does the "Top 10 LB Corps Traded Away" we have to make the list.

Really?? He was going to "Sock him"? He could have just "given him the business". All I have to say is I can see why ol' Vilma was so sore at Sanchez for being a real creep. These guys better cool it though before one of em' goes ape and gets a knuckle sanndwhich.

    LOL-

He's lucky he didn't bop him either.

Nothing is worse then a violent bop.

Yes it was. And the league fined sanchez $5K for the cheap shot. He'd better be careful he doesnt get a rep for being a cheap shot artist, because he's in a position where he could receive a lot more than he gives.

If it were Channing Crowder, he probably would have just cussed out Sanchez.

Farrior was just ordinary for us, we gave up on him a little too soon IMO

hadnt we just or were jsut moving to a 4-3 which farrior wasnt suited for, actually i think we drafted him even though he wasnt suited. then he went to pitt and excelled.
