Down here they tried to compare him with Scott at least Scott has earned the right to trash talk. 14 freaking tackles and he talking about a coach. crap dude should be out there doing tackling drills 11 solo!!! He is their starting middle linebacker and he can't find the ball carrier. Outside of Taylor their linebackers are not better and Taylor is undersized DE. I know why Ryan backed off....because it is not fun to pick on the handicaped but is sure is fun to watch them struggle sometimes.

I watched the press conference, and I disagree with the thread title. I don't think Rex Ryan "regrets" anything. He doesn't think about the past much at all, in the psychological sense, and I think his perspective was reflected in his answers about BE's off-the-field stuff. He was like, "You're really interested in this? Okay. I really can't believe anyone cares about that kind of bullshit, but anyway, that stuff in Cleveland, that was then, this is now. That was there, with them, this is here, with ME. He won't be doing that shit here. This is Jet-land. We have fun here." I think he even said at one point that he's NEVER had a problem with a player not being fully motivated. You just have to love it. By the end of the PC, I was seriously ready to lace 'em up and put a hat on Ricky Williams.
I said this when this whole thing went down in the pre-season.......Ryan is a great coach....he just made Crowder a much better player....at least twice a year!!! LOL
Crowder is an awful player even if he motivated him its not going to make him more talented. Besides the only way to stay motivated is by getting it done on the field. If the jets run all over crowder i doubt he is going to keep talking.
The Jets won't be able to run the ball effectively, that isn't because of Crowder but our front line for the most part. Crowder will bring his A game Monday.
I like my Channing Crowder with those little oysterette crackers. Really warms the stomach on a cold winters day.
You're chances of running will be better based on Edwards play than Green. But we shut down Turner and Sproles, both of whom play in a better offense so there is no reason to think the Jets will be able to run with much success.
