http://www.fannation.com/peter_king_challenge/peter_king?eref=fromvlt Best part of his little summary is the prediction that Sanchez will "get the kitchen sink thrown at him." Sure we'll lose because of that fact but Chad Henne should have no problem with our D. I really despise him.
Wow. Who stands a better chance? Henne against Jets D or Sanchez against Phags D? That part is pretty simple. Jets passing D is one of the best in the league. Sure enough, their Rushing D may not be but its not terrible at all.
I can't believe I'll actually be rooting for Josh McDaniels and the Broncos this week. But after this nice little write-up, I hope the Pats lose and that Tom Brady gets knocked around all game long so much, that Peter King cries to the point where he'll begin blowing snot-bubbles from his nose.
+1 Peeetah must have loved those phantom "roughing" calls against TB last weekend. I bet he spilled his Chinese take out down the front of his shirt when he leaped off the couch, screaming, "look out Tommy! Ref, throw the flaaagggg!"
He was praising us and jumping on the bandwagon. When he does that for any team other than gthe Patriots, and that team loses, it's almost like he takes it personally. He then always picks against that team out of some kind of misplaced spite.
Hey, he made Revis the D MVP and Sanchez the Rookie MVP so far. So there is some love for ya. I don't understand the hate for any writer that picks against a team. It's such a waste of time to get wound about every ranking or prediction. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
That's a big NO, good buddy. There are 'experts' who haven't picked the Jets to win once this year. Mariucci comes to mind. The guy who was slobbing the Jets' knob all season last year because his boyfriend Brett was under center.
Its too bad PK makes these types of predictions. He's usually spot on when it comes to talking about certain teams and his knowledge is pretty good too. Stupid predictions like this make my confidence in him wane...
Actually he didn't. This is from his MMQB column. Also he has Revis as 4th in his MVP watch. On Tuesday he has Sanchez and Revis as the Rookie and Defensive MVP's so far. b. Ron Winter's officiating crew had the worst day a crew has had all season in New England. From a ticky-tack roughing-the-passer call to two ridiculous unnecessary first-down measurements, to what seemed like a 10-minute delay for crew discussion and replay review in the fourth quarter. All of it made a long game agonizing.
Prisco picks against the Pats every week and I consider it a good luck omen. The only opinion that matters is your own and your team's. I'm sure Ryan has the team believing they're gonna win every week.
One thread dedicated to an "expert" picking against the Jets was understandable. Two was pretty bad. A whole thread for this is just unnecessary. About 100 people write up predictions on every game every week, they can all go in one thread that will hopefully get thrown off the first page within a day. But yes, Peter King is fat.
Your kidding right? So its just Cam Wake not Porter, Taylor, Merling, Langford, Crowder, Dotson, Torbor, Anderson, Ayodele, McDaniel, Starks, Soliai, Bell and Ferg (yeah he's still balling) just to name a few but just Cam Wake? If you don't know you'll know come Tuesday morning who everyone of those guys are.
