Mixed in with all of the Breylon Edwards talk was this:

Reporter: "So do you plan on bringing Pace along slowly?"
Ryan: "No, he owes us a month!"

I love this attitude from the HC!

Haha I'm watching it now. It's unbelievable how he can just fire up anyone listening.

EDIT:  His Crowder comment was hysterical. Said if Crowder wanted to find him on Monday night he'd be easy to spot. He'd be wearing a white jersey with number 77 on it and he can just have at it.

HAHA- That is a great line. I can't friggin wait to see Pace in there. He is going to bring even more looks to the D, something the Dolphags don't have on film.

Same with BE too, if he can learn some plays by then, it's all gravy.

What a great way to close that press conference.

Reporter asks Rex Ryan about Channing Crowder.

He practically says, "One thing I'll say about Channing Crowder. He knows where I am. I'm easy to find. I'll be the one wearing a white jersey, with #77 on it. If he wants to come find me, that's where I'll be."

    Hahaha.

It was live on the teams official site and it just finished so the connections are closed. In about an hour, they'll have it up again in archives.

Not to be captain obvious, but Kris Jenkins is number 77 for you novice fans.

    Other Notes:
-Ryan is confident in Edwards helping this team(no shit).
-Saw him twice a season and said he had to roll coverage over to him when he played Baltimore.
-He expects that Edwards and Cotchery as a tandem should keep opponents from stacking the box.

Another note...I'm pretty sure Rex said that Lito did practice so that is great to hear he's finally coming around.

And today I was wondering how could I like Rex Ryan anymore. Love how he sticks up for his team and bashes Crowder.

Not sure if this was the presser or something else but loved this from him too:

"I want to win now," Ryan said. "Every team in the league should want to win now. In my opinion it’s a copout for any team to say, 'We’ve got a four-year program.' Well, how convenient. Your contract is four years, or whatever. To me, I don’t see how that's justified.

"Every team in the league has the same amount of money, the same resources. So why shouldn't you go for the same goal? We’re going for the Super Bowl championship. If people say that’s ridiculous, I think it’s ridiculous you should have any other goal in mind."

This from a Jets HC? My brain is shortcircuting! Does not compute! Seriously, I'm not big on the trash talking, but you have got to love the attitude, something this team hasn't had since we had a QB that wore number 12.
