Agreed with everything said here and in alio's thread. That being said I know I'm supposed to curtail my excitement after a loss....but I think we're going to go into Miami and completely shut them down. 17-3 Jets.
Here's the thing. I agree with you, but I think most of the people see it like this: It's not that we lost the game...It's HOW we lost the game (and in retrospect we gave one way, like the gift we got last week so it comes out in the wash).... Long story short, we were told all week that we'd be LUCKY to stay on the field with the Saints Prolific Offensive attack. Remind me again how many points the Legendary Prolific Saints Offense generated??? 10? 10...that's it.With generous helpings of no calls that even Dierdorf was pointing out. That's why everyone is going darkside. We made more mistakes in one game than we should expect to make in 4 normally. and it was a 7 point game late. We're really good. As Marky Mark gets better we'll be scary good.
With the exception of the 72 Dolphins EVERY superbowl winner has lost at least one game. So why this talk of being exposed and not being a good team? I am not calling a superbowl win but the jets are still a very good team.
I was all psyched up until........ I arrive at my Bar that I have been attending Jets games for 6 years now and there's a group of guys sitting where we normally take up the entire front portion of the bar. My bud walks up and asks "do you have some other people coming to the Bar? The guy answers "get the Fuck Out of my face"! My buddy , just as shocked as I was says "What did you just say" and the Guy mumbles something under his breath. I immediately Said " Are you fucked up or something " and proceeded to draw out the seats in front of the table. He doesn't want any! Already I'm feeling this just doesn't feel right today. Then as we are in a smoking Bar , the guy down at the end of the table (Another New guy Jets fan) says "I don't want you guys smoking near me. @#$##$% "What the fuck is going on here". I looked right down to him and said " Your in the wrong establishment sir , if your concerned with cigarette smoke. (He doesn't complain any longer). Then Here it comes ; a Saints fan parks himself right next to my group. Yesterday had bad day written all over it!!!!! Iv got club level tickets to next week and I'm looking for all the right signs!!!!! I also think I met Petrozzo Yesterday too!!!! Lets Go Jets !:jets:
Sanchez learned a lesson in ball control. All good. Learn from it, move on. We were not going 16 - 0. The Saints showed me more on D than I thought possible. They did a good job. Here come the Dolphins, full speed ahead!!!!!
I know if the shoe was on the other foot and the Saints had lost the same kind of sentiments would be flooding the Saints boards. A loss sucks and there is no two ways about. It sucks big time but they are pretty much inevitable so as they go losing to a NFC team is preferable compared to an AFC or AFC East team. As a Saints fan I can say this, your team is awesome (it's not perfect but which team is?) and while Mark had a bad game he'll learn from it if he's a good QB ( and I think he is.) Rex is a great coach. When I listen to his pressers I almost start chanting J-E-T-S, JETS,JETS,JETS,....almost. Good luck to your team for the rest of the season. I wish them luck and hope that as Fans you do not have to endure the "L" too many more times.:jets:

please, give me more posts like this. this board gets fucking ridiculous sometimes. I actually think it was a good loss. Our defense looked unbelievable and if sanchez didnt make all those mistakes we very well might have won the game. there were some weak points on offense but really if sanchez didnt play like a complete rookie yesterday we very well might have won against a really good saints team. and i fully expect sanchez to recover next week hes smart.
