One of those absolutely frustrating fantasy games today. Half point PPR, 6 pt passing TD. I roll out: Flacco, Slaton, Grant, Jacobs, Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith (NYG), Keller, Redskins D, and Jay Feely He rolls out: Brees, Addai, Choice, Hines Ward, Nate Washington, Sidney Rice, Cooley, 49ers D, and Gostkowski. It looked like an absolute cakewalk for the week. Instead? The 49ers D rolls up 31 points and he's got a 5 point lead going into the Monday night game. So, now I'm banking on Grant outscoring Rice by more than 5 points to get me the win. Worst part is, we're guaranteed to be the top 2 scoring teams in a 12 team league this week. I fucking hate it when you get killed by a bunch of overachieving scrubs. Oh, did I mention I was one slot too late to grab that 49ers D this week on waivers?
I lost to the Eagles D in week one. It pisses me off when a defense or kicker is the difference in a game. Especially after today. The 49ers defense was gifted two TDs without having to do a damn thing. Muffed punt kicked into the end zone and the Amendola juggling act. Bullshit.
I had the Saints' D this week. Bittersweet. But I also had Mark Sanchez in the same league. Saints got me 37 points, Sanchez got me -14.
