I don't care he lead the league in rushing the last year... the past is the past.

I don't care if they put 8-9 men in the box... it's not they only do it when he's on the field.

I don't care if the O-line isn't as good as last year (supposedly, I agree but I know some don't), they block for everyone of our RB.

    Carries/Yards:

    TJ 13/48

    Greene 4/23

    Smith 2/20

    Washington 4/17

STOP FUCKING USING HIM ON 1st and 2nd down!!!

Ps maybe it's spelled led... mmm... anyone care to correct me :)

TJ USED to be the man. Now? He's playing for his next contract. That entire skip and hop shit he's got going is bullshit.

Every time NO (or the Pats when we played them) run on 1 & 2 they go forward (even a tiny bit), TJ is always tackled behind the fucking Line of scrimmage.

    How can you love him?

Because when he saw how Shonne Greene was running he stepped his game up and just didn't give a fuck. He's still running for the win. Have faith! We still got this game fellas!

No offense, but running for about 2 yards a carry is not going to get you some fat contract somewhere. But I agree, it seems like he always tries to hop cut or something into the line.

Me neither. Had a great year last year but I never expected him to duplicate it this season. So glad Tannenbaum did not throw more money at him when he threatened to hold out.

Stacked 8-9 in the box and the O line playing like the partied on Bourbon St last night, our running game looked like crap. period. Play calling was weak when it came to the run. TJ was overrated last season but he's still a #1 RB

I thought we were starting to get our running game going a bit on that last drive when it was stilll 17-10 . . . not running on that 3rd and 1 was criminally insane. I thought we were just starting to knock them off the ball consistently. Then again, we got stopped on that 3rd and 2 on the drive after that.

    I still am....

and you know what's funny, I remember when the theory around here was always that the Defense was already "loosened up" when a Backup came in and did work.

Me ? i don't care because as I stated since the pick, I really Like Green...But we can't automatically put it on Thomas' head.

I'm gonna rewatch the game and see how the D stacked when each RB was in.

The only area I noticed they were getting consistent rushing yards was up the middle. Seems like the Saints were taking care to not let the backs escape to the outside. The interior run blocking was pretty decent at times, making it more baffling that Shotty did not run up the middle on that third and one. The third and two was a complete distaster, i woudl assume it is up to Sanchez to audible to a pass in that situation, but I am not even sure he is allowed to yet.

Our playcalling sucked, Jones and Washington should have been getting heavy workloads instead of trying to force a rookie qb to win the game for us.. We could have beaten them down with the right approach.. We were run blocking pretty well and the offensive line was looking strong, yet we threw Sanchez into the fire.. Alot of schotty trying to get cute and not enough simple, brute force smash mouth play calling.. Their D is small and is excellent at rushing the passer and their secondary is pretty good, but their weak at the point of attack which is exactly why a smash mouth team will give them problems... The more we run the ball on them the more they wear down the better rest our D gets and the less time their O spends on the field.. Logic would tell you that this was the proper game plan against a team like the Colts or Saints.. The offensive play calling defied logic from the get-go.

That doesn't seem possible. Every time he gets tackled he gets injured.
