SP has spoke very highly of sanchez. Actually, he's spoke highly of the Jets even before the season. He wrote a piece for Peter King's MMQB column in the off season and when asked of a team that didnt make the playoffs last year and would this year, he mentioned you guys.

SP is a great coach. He had instant success his first year and abmittedly, he got pass happy stubborn, especially when Deuce went down. He is now committed to the run when before he would bail on the run after 3 carries if thwe RBs werent averaging 6 ypc. That shows me he is maturing as a HC and Im glad to have him.

Payton certainly gets my vote as a great coach. In a very short time hes established himself as one of THE up and coming best NFL coaches, kind of in the Jeff Fischer mould. Better? Maybe.
This is going to be such a mouth watering game, top O coach Vs top D coach. To some extent Xs and Os will go out, and sheer gut instinct will play some part on Sunday. If it is gut instinct that wins , it'll be no contest, Ryan has the bigger gut

Cant argue with you on the gut part. Once the ball is kicked off, its up to the QBs to figure out the defensive schemes. Sanchez vs Gregg Williams & Brees vs Ryan. Should be a very entertaining game.

i wonder how big Rex's gut will be after consuming 4 straight NFL offenses, this time the #1 offense! he might give birth right there in the dome.....

I like the comment where he mentions something like "When we scouted Sanchez, he was extremely accurate and was the number one QB on our board." So far, SP is right and Sanchez may very well turn out to be the best in the draft. Stafford hasn't caused too many doubts about it either. And yes, Marks biggest strength is his accuracy.

well undoubtedly the jury is still out...I think Stafford has done a fantastic job considering the team he is on

jets have the lions beat in every category with the possible exception of WR

I think they even beat our rushing if you look at the tough yards.

Yes that is quite the dilema ....I think we should do an Ace of Cakes episode for Rex, if we all chip in maybe they'll do it and show it on TV. Shape the cake to look like the Jets logo...
