We are hopping in the rented minivan, and heading down for the game. We figure to leave around 5ish 2morrow, and arrive sometimes wednesday afternoon. 5 of us driving, 4 flying. Sitting in section 605, row 19.. Cant wait. We are staying in Hilton Riverside. I am sure we will see many jets fans down there.

May your Hurricane never run dry. Seriously. They'll refill your cup everywhere from a laundromat to the police station (not serious about the latter). Within the first 5 minutes of my first time there, I was under 21 (just turned 20) went right into a bar (Igor's) near our hotel and no one seemed to care about the age thing. Broad daylight and I looked about 17 at the most back then. No carding, no stink eyes. Then a cop walked in, so we got a little nervous having no idea what the rules there actually were. Cop ordered a beer, walked out with it, got in his car and drove off - beer still in hand. Everything after that very first experience there has been gravy. I've been back a dozen times over the past 15 years and each time's been better than the last pre and post Katrina. Great town, great people, great food and spirits. And with the Jets capping the trip - could be as memorable a game trip as you'll ever have! And don't drink the water. Drink the BOOZE.

do it up big hofstra jet. as a 25 year old myself, im extremely jealous im not headin down there but i cant take any more time from work right now. i did the road trip thing last year and flew out to san diego for the monday nighter and to visit a bunch of friends out there who are all transplanted jet fans. shit got crazy. best time. hope yours is ten times better, which it should be since NO is crazy as all hell compared to SD
