I'm pretty sure this is our first game going against Vilma. The Saints D, also has Will Smith (no not the guy from the Fresh Prince) he is a pretty solid DE. Anyone know what side he plays? He going against DBrick or Woody? I always forget that the Jets were interested in getting Bush in the draft, instead we got DBrick. Our defense is going to beat up Bush and P.Thomas. Lets kill the Saints and go 4-0 , LETS FUCKIN GO JETS 4-0!!!! WOOOO

LOL, i just realized I messed up the title. BRING IT ON VILMA. hahaha

i'm glad we hav brick instead of bush. If people still like calling Brick a bust I'd love to see how they'd destroy Bush for not being a godsend for a #2 overall pick. And he is a bit of a bust because of it anyway.

Its nice to see vilma leading a top 10 defense again. That should put an end to the overrated rumors. The dude does very very well in a 4-3 scheme.

Vilma would've thrived in this defense too.

Smith plays on the right side, though they move him around a lot.

Thanks for Vilma. Who did the Jets pick with the picks we gave you? Curious

Vilma is a beast. One of my favorites. I am excited to play against him this week.

Does not matter. We have David Harris and Bart Scott playing in the middle. Both of them are more of a threat than Vilma.

Like Harris and Scott as big hitters near the line, but can they cover the seam route down? Saints love to sneak Shockey and the backs down the middle of the field.

Scoring on the Saints defense should be a Brees. Hey oh!

Vilma was a great jet for the time he played here its a little unfortunate that he left the team the way he did but ultimately we got two great linebackers

Yeah we love us some Vilma Down here! He is a really intelligent player who is pretty dam solid in the middle. I can't wait til we shut the J-E-T-S offense down this weekend and the rest of the country will start to realize that this Saints D is for real. Maybe not as good as the Jets....yet. But a lot better than people give us credit for. I think you will all be surprised when our D flexes on you this weekend.

Even after a day where they didn’t exactly light it up against Buffalo, the Saints still have the league’s top-rated offense.

"They’re No. 2 in the running game and sixth in the passing game. Perhaps more significantly, the Saints have a top-10 defense. Seriously. According to the rankings the NFL sent out this morning, New Orleans ranks No. 10 in overall defense. The Saints are fifth against the run and tied for 22nd against the pass. "

Bare in mind that 2 of these games they were up 20pts early and gave up a lot of yards in prevent defense. Otherwise the rankings would be a lot higher. We'll probably move up to #7 after we shutdown the Jets this weekend.

I love beating up on New Orleans, just like LSU.

Anything football from Louisiana is to immediately be dismissed as a joke, a cheating franchise, and something to keep the alligator humping inbreds from shooting each other on Sundays.

i've noticed those "spell out" chants don't work unless your team has a 4-letter name or nickname. The rhythm is off. Giants, Saints, Eagles, Bills - they all shouldn't use it.

I still have a softspot for Vilma and always hope he's super successful- except for this weekend! I hope TJ or Greene run him over like a drunken Stallworth mows down mexicans!
