I thought I saw you behind the 7-11 ! aw dude, I like the other avy w/ the splinter cell night vision goggles! yep, sec.329 here and we stood, cheered and caused rukus!
Throat is sore as hell, the headache is gone thanks to 2 advil and a couple more cold beverages in the parking lot and got home in a little over an hour. Two straight come from behind loses. Probably not as loud as the Patriot game, BUT...... How about the "We Will Rock You," song at the 2-minute warning??? That was fucking great and gave me goosebumps. I've been to a lot of games but the crowd singing along to that was a great moment.
Thomas Jones was the only player booed and he deserved it. Much like the NE game there were 2 quarters on offense where there wasn't a single thing to clap about let alone cheer about on offense. The crowd was loud on defense the entire game although not as loud as NE.
I could hear how loud it was in the 4th Q every time the Titans had the ball and another delay penalty makes teh crowd look good too ..
My throat is fucking killing me. But again worth it. And for those who doubt the crowd today, it wasn't as consistent as last week, but was deafening when it counted, especially at the end!
was there in sec 115 today...for the weather being what it was the crowd came out and was LOUD in the 1st and 4th. In the 2nd a lot of boos for Schotty's calls. In the 4th when the defense was out there that place was rocking and the we will rock you part at the 2 min warning was crazy everybody was singing and clapping. Def not as loud as NE but it was pretty damn good.
When i turned on CBS i was suprised to see how many people had shown up, They were a factor in this win again. I Had a couple friends atthe game and after it they called me to talk about the game and said how loud everybody was. Great job.
Would someone at the games hunt down the idiots with the whistles. I can't understand the logic of blowing a whistle at a game. Many penalties after a whistle result in fines, so players react to whistles. Both home games had idiots blowing whistles.
The crowd was definitely a factor when it mattered. I sat in my seat like a wet rat from ten to one until 00:00. There weren't as many empty seats as some said. At least not that I saw. The crowd started getting apprehensive when the momentum changed, but why should that be unusual? Rex Ryan started petitioning Jets fans to be more interactive since the day he got here, and there's no doubt that crowd involvement works. I was so nervous towards the end of the game, I almost needed to be carried out on a stretcher.
I have to say my section 313 was better than last week, I was proud to be out there..Last week I felt like I was by myself... No voice, but no sunburn, just hope I dont get sick before we leave for New Orleans!!!
New York Jets 09/27/2009 08:34 PM ET RL: HC Rex Ryan will be interviewed by Bob Costas at halftime of tonight's Indy-Arizona game on NBC-TV. Check out the coach in prime time. Nick Mangold 09/27/2009 08:53 PM ET Gracias to all the fans that cheered their lungs out today. Your presence was felt
Just get a lot of extra sleep, (and drink extra water) if possible. New Orleans is a big time CRAZY party town! You will love it!
Nah dude I'm in the lw of the stadium section 118 row 20 if any of us meet up at games. And my belicheck avi will return soon. Just experimenting lol
I want to thank the Bill Bellichick coaching tree for giving us Eric Mangini, who gave us Brett Favre who brought us Rex Ryan and the next coming of Joe Namath It would not have been possible without your help.
