I know it is a week ahead, but anyone planning on making the trip? My three brothers
and i are going down on Saturday...staying on Bourbon...would be cool to get some jets fans to take over a bar for awhile either saturday or before kickoff for the 4 o'clock game....

We're going as well and would love to meet up with some fellow Jet fans. Saturday night would be great. Just pick a time and place and we'll definitely come out..

Jet fan stranded in Baton Rouge here...the wife and I are planning on going...still deciding on which jersey to wear (while I'm awaiting the arrival of my Sanchez jersey!). Unfortunately, all of my current jerseys are no longer current Jets! :(

I'll go if someone can hit me up with a loansky.

ATL to NO shouldn't be that expensive.

Don't worry, I'm good for it!

I'll be there. I go to N.O. at least 4 times a year because I have family down there. If you guys want to take over a bar, I'm in. My favorite bar down in the quarter is Lafittes Blacksmith Bar. Its the oldest bar in the history of the U.S. and I would like to nominate it as the one we turn green.

Thats sick for those going to the game. Its should be a good matchup and despite the Saints great offense with Brees i think we can honestly test them and win it. It wont be easy but really they never are.

Fraunce's Tavern in NY is the oldest I believe. Where Washington planned out most of the Revolution and delivered his farewell to his troops.

If you need to wake up on Sunday morning before the game, go to Cafe Du Monde in the French Quarter....OMG, the coffee will knock your socks off.

It is an old, old, OLD very historic place....the beignets are to die for.

I had to hand carry beignets back on the plane for my mom and dad...they are that awesome. They are not sweet, they are just perfect.

Hope that all of you guys have a great time! There are a million things to do in the French Quarter, and the food is some of the very best in the United States.

Pat O'Briens is too commercial & packed with tourists. Lafitte's sounds awesome.
