I noticed and so did the Patsies, he must know somebody to still be on this team, after he came in he gave up all the first downs the Patsies got in the 4th quarter...yeesh....
Looks like Lito will probably play and Strickland almost definitely won't. If ever there was a game we could make due without Strickland, it's this one. The Titans' WRs are pretty miserable. Still, having Drew Coleman on the field is bad no matter how you slice it.
I really wouldn't mind seeing Strickland and Sheppard sit this one out. Lowery and Revis can handle these clowns; we need healthy corners for New Orleans.
I guess this is why I said he had a cramp. A quadricep is a muscle and can cramp, get strained, get pulled etc. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2009/09/san_francisco_forty-niners_cha.html That article was from Monday. Here is an udpate. As said Strickland is almost definitely out and Sheppard may play. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2009/09/ny_jets_put_mark_sanchez_on_th.html
I think you're both right. I had a few muscle cramps that were bad enough to turn into a strain. It depends on how quickly you can knead the cramp out.
Coleman is like a football vampire. Someone needs to cut his head off and put a stake through his heart..
I was really hoping Strickland would be able to play this week. He was huge for us on Sunday. Lets hope Sheppard will play.
Strickland is a freaking animal. Much better than I had expected from him. Rex, too, apparently. That pickup was directly credited to Tanny and Cohen and their scouting team.
all about our cornerback situation is in the AFC east blog saying "Jets hurting in the Secondary" I can't post links yet.
Strickland being out sucks. We really need Lito out there then. After having a bad preseason he has played well in the first two games. Lowery played well against New England as well when he started to see a lot of time in the second half. If the Jets can get to the QB it will only help the Jets out in the secondary.
Well at least the Titans don't have the scarest group of WRs in the league, so if it was going to happen it might as well have happened now. I'm not so concerned with Lowery starting for Sheppard, but D. Coleman always scares the sh1t out of me. But so far Ryan has shown his talent at putting people in the right spots to play to their strengths, so I have to assume he will do the same with Coleman, although I don't know what his strengths are...
I think Lowery and Revis would be just fine. I would like Lito and Strickland to rest this one. We will definately need both of them next wk against Saints and risking them this wk wouldn't be such a great idea, unless of course they are around 90%. Coleman will play Nickel if needed. Have Lito dressed up and only play on passing downs if need be. But pressure on Collins should give Coleman enough help to last this game. I mean, he can't be any worse can he?
