I've tried talking to Raven fans about us hiring of Rex Ryan and how it has really paid off up to now and basically gave thanks to them and there like he's overrated, raven players made him especially Ray Lewis, he plays prevent D a lot especially at the end of 4th quarter (I was like well he didn't play prevent against the Patriots on that last drive and that Revis said it isn't even in the playbook), amongst other things. Granted not all of them said this but quite select few did. Which is why it would feel somewhat sweet if we had a better record and better D then them this year.
Nah, he's just needs to hang up the cleats soon. He's one of the best linebackers to ever play the game...even if he did get away with murder.
I'm suprised he never even got suspended by the NFL. That shit wouldn't fly if Goodell was running the league; he'd be suspended for a season and fined like 300k. Unless he played for the Jets, then he'd be banned for life and fined like a mil.
Ray doesn't look done just yet. That 4th down tackle on Sproles Sunday was amazing, absolutely amazing. Maybe the best defensive play of the year, thus far. Between Urlacher and Lewis, Urlacher should be the one hanging up the cleats.
Ray Lewis is one of my favorite players and the Ravens, or rather Ray Lewis and Rex Ryan, instilled a philosophy that I love and wish more teams would play. His style of play and leadership are amazing.
He never showed the slightest bit of remorse. Now I know he COULDN'T 'apologize' to the victims' families publicly after he skated to protect himself from any other legal action, but his attitude was horrible. What a steaming pile of dogsh*t.
