I believe they both left the game on sunday. Both had a great game on Sunday and Lowery did well filling in.

Don't know but we activated M. Cole so I'm not sure they'll play this week.

First of all, theres been at least two threads about this.
Second of all, is it that hard to quickly look over the title of your thread for errors?

Rex Ryan said the Lito had a "strained quad" and Strickland had a "strained ankle"... he used them as general terms, and said both would be limited in practice this week. If you go to Newyorkjets.com now and then and read the press conference transcripts you'll find out a lot of information.

Listening to Rex's press conference now:
Neither practiced today, Rex is "not convinced" that they will play this week.

I see Sheppard's is being called a quad again and not a cramp as somebody was saying here yesterday.

the defense was still looking strong against the pats without them. i think the D can handle not having them for this week. they will be needed against the saints though.

enter Dwight Lowery. Its his time to shine...

I really dont want to see him get time because of an injury, so lets hope Sheppard and Strickland bounce back quick....

that's why I didn't even mention the Titans. Lowery can get on Gage or Britt or whoever with the pass rush diminishing the window to throw.

but with Johnson out there. Lowery will be needed in run support as well.

I noticed that Dwight was on the field a lot, mostly covering Stickland's man when he was blitzing.

Lowery was a heck of a defensive back at SJSU - Rex Ryan will know where to put him.

has he had trouble with tackling in the past? i can't recall ever regarding him as a bad tackler.

i really think we might have something in strickland though. destroying that screen pass to the welker clone was a thing of beauty. i also recall him making some other nice plays on the ball against the slot guy. i didn't notice him much week one but he looked like a legit nickle back against the pats.

Well, he forced the fumble by Slaton in week one, so he did have a pretty big impact in that game too. He's a heck of a nickel back, lets hope he gets healthy soon

Yeah, I was just listening to SNY and heard the same thing. Well, guess we get to see how well he can plug those holes. He has done pretty good so far

From personal experience a "strained quad" will sideline you for at least a week, maybe two depending on how serious it is. I think its the same thing M. Barber has and they're saying 1 to 2 weeks for him as well.

But who knows, Lito said its not serious... My money is that Lito will be out Sunday and that Strickland will see limited action.

I'd rather have 2 of our top 4 corner backs out against the Titans then the Saints, we need them 100% for that passing offense.

Both showed up as questionable on yesterday's injury report.
