http://itiswhatitis.weei.com/sports...ction-jets-16-pats-9-postgame-920/#more-17300 Great win!...Now that a couple of hours have passed us by, I am eagerly anticipating this matchup. Both teams are very evenly matched. So, whats the strategy for this one? I think we need to rattle Kerry Collins hard! But the titans arent much a pass first team...We need really to focus on their run game and destroy Chris Johnson. Sanchize needs to continue to push the ball...although the Titans have a great secondary What are the keys to win the game?
Stop the run and let Sanchez be Sanchez. The kid is great we shouldn't rely on the run game when our best weapon is the QB.
Jones will get better once teams start fearing our passing game. The more tape they see of Sanchez the more they will fear our passing game.
The Titans will surely be hungry, after falling to 0-2. But I love our chances against a run-heavy team. We'll blitz more and worry about our Secondary coverage less. And we beat Houston, who just beat the Titans. How can you not love that? I can't wait! I also want to check out Kenny Britt on the Titans. Any fellow Knights fans here?
The Jets need to rest Jenkins this week, take it easy. He won't forget how to play football, and he has to be healthy.
Contain their running game while establishing our own. We did it last year, and that's how we won. No Haynesworth in the middle anymore is gonna be nice but they are still a very dangerous team, especially considering they just lost 2 close games in a row.
We need to worry about Chris Johnson, that is it. Kerry Collins is going to get sacked and drilled many times because he can't scramble and avoid the sacks. Their passing game is going to look pathetic against us. Their defense is nothing without Haynesworth. They are overated, they went to OT with the Steelers because they are overated as well....as they just lost to the Bears.
I don't like the idea of playing an 0-2 team. Its going to be hard to beat them but I have faith in our team. BTW, I thought next week we are the Titans and we are playing the Oilers.
Revis is going to be even more dominant this week, if he can make Johnson and Moss look pedestrian what can he do to an average receiving corps. Our keys to the game are shutting down C.Johnson and Jenkins being healthy.
Kerry Collins certainly isn't good, per se, but he's good enough to keep anyone who tries focusing entirely on Johnson honest. Gage/Britt/Washington/Crumpler are decent, but again, decent is good enough with so much attention payed to that running game. I think the Jets corners are talented enough in one-on-one situations and that Ryan is a creative enough coach for the Jets to smother them. But it is a classic let down game, and I think that may be the biggest test for Ryan and Sanchez. Making sure they don't get caught up in themselves against a hungry 2-0 team. Judging by the attitudes they've show, I don't think they're would. And if they're ready to play, the rest of the team will be right there with 'em.
I am a little worried about this game. The Titans are going to bring their A-game - a team that went 13-3 should NOT open their next season 0-3. This game might be as tough as today's game...also, I'm sure they haven't forgotten about the team that broke their undefeated streak last year...
