The response to questions about this game should have been "it's just another game in week 2 of the season". Then go out and kick their asses. Then the talk can start. I appreciate Ryan trying to change the attitude here, but if (and probably when) they lose this week, it will be just the Same Ole Jets - a lot of talk, and no results. Contradiction or not, the Jets have not won anything the past 40 years. The old "It's just another game" statement hasn't done jackshit for them. Why not change it up for a bit? They've got nothing to lose....
Old school is about beating the crap out of your opponent for 60 minutes and than shaking their hands and walking off the field like a proffessional. There is nothing more intimidating in sports than getting whiped on the field and having your opponent shake your hand and tell you what a great game you just played.
