As of this moment the Bills are beating NE without a play by TO. If they lose tonight they will be extra motivated against us this week. What do we need to do against NE to keep them down? If I'm BB I'm going to see how susceptible we are to the screen pass, so we're going to see a LOT of that early.
Blitz, blitz, blitz, and blitz some more. Brady looks very shaken by the pressure the BILLS are applying. Let Scott and Harris get back there and see what happens.
It's the beginning of the 2nd half of the Pats/Bills game. Why can't we wait til the game is over to begin creating threads or begin discussing teams/players that suck?
I could see them quick screen to Welker all day. Quick passes all day too. Has to be their gameplan. We should come out dropping 8 and forcing a good pass. Then blitz a little later.
Because I'm not able to WATCH that game so I'm filling my time with meaningful discussion based on the first half. And tomorrow we'll have more to talk about Now YOU go watch the game and come back tomorrow
This thread has a feel for one of those awful threads that were created Sunday afternoon. Like the Thomas Jones thread. It was created at 1:08. That's about 5 minutes into the 1st quarter. It was a terrible thread and the OP had to take back the shit he was saying in it. If you think the Pats are already giving up tonight, there's plenty of football left and putting a drive together now. I'm sure some of the plays that they run tonight, they won't run against us. Guarantee it.
 That is funny. I guess I do sound like him there. Not how Ryan will handle it. Drew said it like it is.
while i wouldn't mind seeing the pats lose i still feel better if the pats came into next week winning. if the pats lost what would next weeks line be? Pats by 3?
sanchez has to watch out for hidden LB's in zone, i think he was caught off guard numerous times that way. blitz blitz blitz, kill brady. run the ball.
It is concerning that the best way to beat the blitz is with the screen plays and NE loves to utilize the screens. At the same time, the NYJ defense is built to create pressure and they should continue the trend from Week 1. Get in Brady's face, make him uncortable in the pocket and good things will happen for the Jets.
I'd expect that pats to try and spread us out, force us take out linebackers and spread out our defense.Meaning we have less guys in the middle to use for these fancy blitz/hidden coverage packages.
Again if you don't want to participate, then don't. No one is forcing you to read this thread. Since I've posted NE has come back with 10 points, TO has shown up and Buffalo has a FG (17-10). BB KNOWS how to change the tone of a second half - that is common knowledge and often is the bane of many a team and is in some evidence here. Honestly what I've never seen anyone do against BB is create 2 different game plans one for each half. Then when BB makes his halftime adjustments he comes out to find a whole different scheme. I'd like to see the JETS find a way to disguise that hole against the slants and screens while maintaining that aggressive assault on the offensive line. We did a great job of rattling Shaub, but that we've tipped our hand in flooding the line with the Buddy Ryan D, will the Pats keep extra guys in to block and take their chances man to man, or will they really spread the offense and hit us with quick drops?
The Bills have 2 number 1 wideouts...which the Pats are double covering....it's opening up a lot of space for F.Jackson and the TE's. T.Edwards is taking full advantage. Because we are lacking in the #1 Wideout dept and we have rookie QB....the Pats will most likely play us a little differently.
The Pats will stretch us out out of the Shotgun formation. We're going to have a hard time getting to Brady for sure. Bubble screens will be a bitch, and Faulk will come out of the backfield to a wide open middle of the field after he chips one of our blitzing LB's. It's going to be tough. Brady's limited mobility and the favoritism he's showing his knee will us a chance, but it's going to be hard covering the long ball (Moss) and the underneath stuff (Welker).
