Yeah hearing jenk say he's going to do whatever he can to make sure Rex is his coach for the rest of his career....man that's something. I don't think I've ever heard anything like that before.
I think I almost made my 4 year old daughter cry like 3 times yesterday from yelling at the TV. After a while she was laughing and then my son was joining in the yelling. It was comical.
Ryan has confidence in himself and he instills confidence in his players. Half the shit he says is to get the team fired up. He knows he will look like a fool when they lay an egg and he is willing to take that on himself. Mangini and Edwards had the Jets hiding under their beds.
Also I have to mention that ridiculous fucking 4th and 2 call by Kubiak. Over a quarter of football to play, in his own territory and he calls a 4th and 2. Just a shit call no matter how you look at it.
Exactly. There will definitely be bad days but with the amount of confidence he's giving this team, they'll probably get over it immediately and get right back to kicking ass. Getting Ryan as the head coach is awesome.
Eric Smith made a great play on that 4th and 2. I liked how they used him at what I thought was a LB position at times to cover a TE rather than have a slower guy do it.
Just as long as they don't do anything to compromise our roster for Tennessee the next week, I say go for it.
That's what's good about a guy like Smith. He's a big hitter with some size in the run game, so you can afford to do things like that.
Why didn't mangenius think of that? I remember watching Barton and Pace repeatedly trying to cover guys they had no business trying to cover. So annoying.
