Looks like Jason Davis was signed back to the practice squad, and we cut Emanuel Cook to put him there. All is well, we have a backup FB available once again. I know a lot of people were high on Cook coming out of South Carolina, but he really didn't show much in the preseason, so I can't say I'm surprised that he was the one to go.
I feel much better having a backup FB on the roster, even if it's the PS. TRich ain't gonna live forever.
Exactly. This makes me feel much less stress over having Lil' Danny on the PS. I guess the organization was really unimpressed with Caulcrick. MSU is going to be sad.
Not sure why you were stressed about Woodhead being on the PS. I just wanted a FB, and it makes a lot more sense to keep Woodhead on the PS than it does 2 safeties when we have 4 on the active roster.
I thought I was pretty clear about this already. It's not about having Woodhead, per se, but rather having Woodhead at the expense of a FB. Having both isn't a problem at all. I just assumed 99% of the board already understood my position. I definitely didn't expect to be questioned by you.
