"Jets waived WR Marcus Henry. Just like last year, Henry will probably make it through waivers. He was the Jets' sixth-round pick in 2008. The Jets also cut tight ends Kevin Brock and Jack Simmons."

Simmons dropped one too many balls.

    Simmons was awful, Henry invisible.....................goodbye.

Simmons has to buy one of those automatic football throwers and put himself in front of it for 12 hours a day till next pre-season. Maybe he will go from totally and completely sucks to mediocre.

simmons would get praised in practice, and then in the games he's drop these beyond easy catches.

i hope no one feels that Henry deserved a roster spot - he was a 6th round pick.

Simmons got open and I heard he was good in practice, just didn't perform on gameday.

I'm 100% sure Westerman makes the roster and really hoping Woodhead does.

jamaal's a lock. He looked damn good last night.

Woodhead is the one that the coaches have to be debating on.

i feel bad for Ryan, schotty, and the RB coach. that's gotta be such a tough decision to make for that kids future, but he will be picked up somewhere else.

I think it's time that someone amputated JetsFan's fingers.

Why do you want Woodhead to make it? What possible purpose would he serve behind TJ, Leon and Greene?

Aside form a "feel good" story, he has no place on our roster.

    Practice squad should be fine.

PR, KR, ST coverage, and Leon's backup.

At this point I'd consider letting Wright go before Woodhead.

Why? Richardson isn't in on enough plays at it is, and Greene can fill the roll if needed.

Why Wright is an integral special teams player. He is among the best if not the best on the Jets coverage units. Special teams players like that do not grow on trees.

Nothing absolutely nothing Woodhead does makes him integral to the team. There are players that are immensely better then Woodhead at anything he offers to the Jets.

Wright does nothing else though. The fact that Woodhead could potentially be the best kick returner not named Washington on the team. Not to mention he's the type of player that can become dominant on a coverage unit.

Brad Smith is about as good at Wright on ST, but at least Smith will frequently see the field on offense.

Caulcrick is behind TR,Wayne Hunter, Ben Hartsock, and Rob't Turner.

    Only Leon duplicates Woodheads skillset.

Woodhead is insurance if anyhting happens to the 6 million dollar man.

And adds the versatility of the two back set with leon.
