I have seen no links to suggest we are interested, just going off what I saw from him.

He is purely a blocking TE, that's what he is known as, that's what he was drafted as and that's where he saw most of his time.

He can catch a ball if needed, but I think we could really use him on this team.

    Worth a shot?

klopfenstein is also available... both are better than what is being keller right now.

where's the moron who said that the Jets should trade picks with Atlanta if they threw in Hartsock?

I don't know where he went. It's kind of nice around here now that he's gone...

I think The GM is off working on his finger paintings somewhere. I have not missed him, but thought of him when I saw this thread.

We should be able to fill some of our depth holes in the upcoming week. I hope some good opportunities come up, cause I know if Tanny and Rex have their eyes on a guy, we will get him

I wonder what mediocre-at-best I-AA prospects he'll claim to be first round talents next off-season.

RASHAD JENNINGS IN THE FIRST ROUND!

You know, Dan Klopfenstein is cousins with Reel Big Fish's guitarist/trumpeter/vocalist Scotty Klopfenstein. I'd bring him in for no other reason then to have them as the pre-game entertainment.

He's a good solid blocking TE and he has been a starter as of late with the falcons so i would definitely consider him as backup.

Why did they release him? Anyways I think we already have our blocking TE in Hunter... what we should look for is an alround guy because if Keller goes down we have no TE to pass the ball to in the middle.

With a name like Hartsock he shouldn't get too many holding penalties called on him.

Yea and Jarron Gilbert in the 1st round. I remember there were quite a few on that ridiculous bandwagon. Ha. Ha.

I was on it as well, but I try not to tell someone thier a dumbass for feeling that a certin player may get picked in the first. Gilbert is a physical freek and should be a very good penetrating DT for the bears in the comming years.

Hood was a good depth pick for the steelers. They have a great knack for getting a guy a year or two before its a huge need and drafting very good talent when they do.

Ha. Ha. Jarron Gilbert has been named to the Bears starting defensive line already...he must suck, huh?

It will be a rotation, but Gilbert is supposed to get the majority of the reps.

    Great call on this;

Jets signed TE Ben Hartsock, formerly of the Falcons.

Hartsock was just released Tuesday, but the Jets acted quickly to fill a glaring need at blocking tight end. Hartsock won't have fantasy value, but he should be getting plenty of playing time alongside Dustin Keller.

Solid move. Hartsock fills the backup/blocking tight end hold...

I hope this move doesn't bring back The GM.

Agreed. When we traded up, I thought it was for Gilbert, and started celebrating. I was crushed when they took Shonn Greene.
