That makes Revis the best CB in the NFL going into week 1.

Somebody tell Old AL that Lito is a freakin' 99 in Madden and should get shot of Nnamdi.

I would post a sinking ship, but the raiders have been sunk at the bottom of the sea for about 5 years now.

revis imo is already the best... why would teams even throw to nmandi when the raiders are down by 3 touchdowns in most games and the raiders run defense sucks..

    i feel bad for Nnamdi.

I love Darrelle Revis, but Aso is the best corner in the game.

I understand the praise that Revis gets, but Asomugha is the best corner in the game right now. Revis gets a nod for 2nd (tho the Titans also have a very good corner in Hennigan(name escapes me). Here's a good 1st test to see where Revis is at--since we were discussing this on the Revis vs Johnson thread--if Revis can keep Andre Johnson to 2 catches, 19 yds, 0 TD's, Revis will be on the road to being on the same level of Asomugha.

Asomugha is just as good as Revis except he has a much bigger frame, which puts him a little above Revis.

But Asomugha has been in the year for 7 years, Revis is going into his 3rd so who knows what will happen in the next year or two.

That's the one. The guy jams WR's on the line, and shadows them so well. He's also got the speed to catch up to or keep up with the speediest receivers and he's got good hands.

Asomugha is a special player. Clearly the best CB in the NFL. I've heard many of his interviews and Asomugha is a very intelligent, smart football player.

Hate to see great players go down, hope he's back soon.

sadly that won't be Johnson's stat line at the end of the houston game. some how some way the Texans will get Johnson lined up against somebody other than Revis, or he will get his catches against a zone. So I fully expect Revis to take Johnson out of the game about 97% of the snaps those two go head to head, but their will be 3-4 plays where revis won't be on Johnson and expect Johnson to rack up an extra 3 receptions for 56 yards and maybe a score that way....

Seriously, the Raiders just need the team to bond for everything to start working. I'm guessing Al's funeral will be the moment.

And I'm not being morbid here. I genuinely hope he lives to be 110.
