I can't see how the team will be too good with Pace gone the first 4 games, Ellis gone Game 1, rookie coach, rookie QB, no WR's to throw to, tough schedule. Could be 0-4 to start and you don't get out of those holes usually. Hopefully I am wrong and the Jets can pull off something.

Maybe 10-6 if we split with NE.

LOL, your not kidding. I'll take a Stab at this. 1. @ Houston L - I feel the Texans are ready to break out. Both Pace and Ellis are missing this game. Not a good start. 2. NE L - Week two against the best team in the AFC east whie still missing Pace. 3. Tennessee W - I feel our D can shut down a run based offense. 4. @ New Orleans W - In a classic Grind it out vs High powered attack game we come out ahead. 5. @ Miami W - Divison games are always tough, but the Ravens defense dismantled the Phins in the playoffs and Ryan is bringing that scheme here. 6. Buffalo W - The weakest of teams in the AFC East. This should be DJ's last season as thier coach. 7. @ Oakland W - Despite of a roster full of all pros and the lowest combined team 40 time in NFL history we somehow manage to beat the raiders 8. Miami L - Giving the Phins a split here. We are bound to lose a winable one. Both these games should be very close this year. 9. Jacksonville W - While I like Jacksonville, They are relying too much on Jones Drew and have no outside threat. 10. @ New England L - Another one of those years. I just don't see us getting by a healthy Brady. 11. Carolina W - Revis vs Smith should be fun to watch. If Jenkins is still healthy at this point I think we can slow, if not stop, thier runnign attack. 12. @ Buffalo W - By this point in the season TO's meltdowns should be fun for all opposing fans to watch. 13. @ Tampa Bay W - Thier offense should be similar to ours, I'm betting on our D being stronger though. 14. Atlanta L - This is an up and comming power house with a well balanced offense and what should be an improved defense. 15. @Indianapolis L - While I see the colts dropping off, they will still be able to out Gun our offense. 16. Cincinnati W - Is there a worse run organization in the NFL over the last 10 years? I don't think so. 10-6. Too optimistic for me, but thats my early season guess. In reality I see us going around 8-8 while having one of the top defenses in the NFL. Going to be a ton of close, nail biter type games this year. I can't wait.
Yeah I started this last year and I was going to start it again once a starter at QB is named..and especially wait with the current trade rumors but oh well...shouldn't change much.
I kinda worry for this season when the two most optimistic posters from years past predict 6-10 and 9-7. Although, we were never right in the past either.
I'm usually one of the more middle of the road guys if not on the negitive side preseason, and I ended up at 10-6. Guessing is guessing this time of year.
Oh come on Grow a set and do one now. You can always do anter when the Preseason is over. That is unless the interent gets full by then.
